This is gonna sound weird, but i LOVE the 1989 on intros where it featured Gene Wood using the "You Could Win a BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAND NEW CAR as we play (and the audience...not every time, but most...joins in) CLASSIC CON CEN TRA TION!!!!!" Love Love Love it! Wish every intro did that!

I partially am through my maternal grandfather. He mostly grew up in Buffalo, NY with his first cousins and my great aunt and great uncle, his aunt and uncle. I'm guessing his first cousins would be my first cousins once removed

weWATCH Likewise. But believe it or not, I actually have this episode on videotape, thanks to my dad (thx Dad 🤗). I cut my teeth on this show back during my preschool days, & my dad actually recorded it quite often on videotape (whether he did that for me or for himself remains to be seen since I’m the game show junkie of my family). Only thing is that I’m not sure about the quality of it since it’s so old & I’ve rewound it so many times throughout the years...
@Gene G Jr Buzzr is taking an unusually long time to show the 1991 episodes, for what reasons I don't know. I don't know how long more we have to wait. If they just put a simple online video-on-demand system where we can view our desired episodes, it would be so much more convenient.

According to the official Classic Concentration episode guide here markgoodson.fandom.com/wiki/Classic_Concentration/Episode_Guide/Summer_1991 , he was defeated in the second game of the following episode (dated August 5th 1991) by a contestant named Chris. And as we can see in this video, he already had a strike against him (possibly from an earlier episode), so his defeat in the next episode means he got his second strike and was out, although by then he had already accumulated $9,273 in prizes. Apparently, I can't seem to find that August 5th 1991 episode of Classic Concentration anywhere. If anyone happens to have a link to it, please either upload it or share it. Much appreciated

You don't see too many players matching a pair of wild cards in this game so not only did holly get $500 she got a trip to Waikiki as well shame she didn't solve the puzzle 🧩 to keep it though
