Had an amazing time down at the seventh annual Classic Hondas on the Dragon in Maryville, Tennessee. Classic Hondas on the Dragon: / classichondasonthedragon
Your dedication to make it to the dragon is commendable even after a breakdown. Glad you have another awesome Honda to drive. Maybe someday I'll be able to join in. PNW is quite a trip. Thanks.
SO glad you were still able to make it buddy. Great seeing you, and the S definitely didn't disappoint. Your coverage is fantastic as well! Thank you so much for putting this together.
That must have been an awesome event🙏🏻 beautiful Honda’s (including yours), nice weather and the roads over there seem to be great to drive……thanks for giving us an impression🤟🏻
Cool to see a couple Preludes🤙 I love that area of the US, hoping to make CHD one of these yrs! Thanks for showing us CHD through your eyes I always enjoy these vids👍
@@crxsethit would be cool to make it every yr since finding out about CHD 5-6 yrs ago I just live too far away but have been contemplating moving back east to around that area of the southern Appalachians in the next couple yrs. I grew up in FL and used to vacation around that area all the time, love that area of the US. Glad to see you were still able to make it and fortunate enough to have a back up plan!
Hella 🔥 outlook vid on the event my man! I was looking for you at the gravel lot meet but I didn't get there till 5 and then heard about the trans issue in the CRX. Glad you got her off the road and back safe and still made it out! It was my 1st time and me n my son had an absolute blast on the Dragon in my 97 Civic EJ8 EX Coupe with JDM TypeR swap! Wish I'd have gotten to catch you tho! 1 main goal of the trip dangit! Lol
If I knew you were stuck on my interstate I woulda came and helped you😂👍but best of luck getting the crx back on the road soon. Also hoping I can attend next years CHD meet
I am subscribing to your channel. I was hoping to go down this year with my S2000 or Integra. My trip would have been at least 18 hours each way plus wait time at the border. My bigest fear is to breakdown like you did. I wanted to trailer my car there and back but the cost to rent a truck was way too expensive when I looked into it once the mileage surcharge is factored in the rental price.
What got you into Hondas in the first place? (Making my way thru your back catalogue, so you maybe covered this at some point). I learned to drive in my mum’s mk1 Civic (wish we had had the foresight to keep it 😉). Watching your videos has inspired me to dig out the brochures from motor shows that my dad took me to in Glasgow 🏴 back in the 80’s, including a few Honda ones - for me the 87/88 range brochure is peak Honda in my eyes 😉🎌
Great video fam! Good thing you shut the Rex down soon as possible. Trans should still be good. Hate I didn't get to run into ya tho. Definitely gotta be in touch for next time 🫡
Loved this view of the event! Though the issue with the CRX really sucks, you did get to drive the event in an amazing car for the Dragon. Silver linings, right?
I saw you driving the s2000 leaving the fontana dam meet, i was wondering if that was you, since you also have the crx.. I was in a stock white ap2.. We had a few S2000 park on the side it was 9 of them.. this all happen towards the end when people where leaving.
@@crxseth You where driving by i did not wanted to bother.. but Yes for sure, i follow your valve cover painting tutorial and turn out great on my s2k.. thanks.
I actually like the 4th and 5th gen Preludes a lot. I think the H-series just never had as much support behind it. Still awesome cars, and one I wouldn’t mind having in the future.
Luckily in my country no one likes to go fast on these kind of roads and i can drive as fast as i want without posers in the way. But no one is watching my videos either 😅
So weird how CRX’s, Preludes, and 90’s Honda’s like this, are considered “classic” now. I think they’re considered more classics among Honda fanboys more than anything, but still lol. They were slow back then, and just as slow today. These cars literally brought the term “rice” to the community, and for good reasons. So much sound, with little to no “go.” Lol. It’s so odd that they’re classics… Oh, and FYI, no matter how much you want to call it a “Honda”, Integra’s, and RSX’s are Acuras. I know you just got triggered, but literally, they’re made by Acura. You don’t call a VW an Audi. You don’t call an Infiniti a Nissan. You don’t call a Lexus a Toyota. Etc. Keep it real people. Don’t let fanboy’ism cloud your thought process…
Supply and demand. You give your car value, no matter what. So you do you. Seth enjoys all kinds of cars. This channel is specifically Honda, so he stays on topic. I mean, I own a 65 Biscayne 2 door, a 92 Camaro Z28, and an 88 CRX si and I don't have the audacity and arrogance to downtalk Honda fans. As long as the passion is there for cars, I'm all in, especially now-a-days here in CA, when they want to banish the internal combustion engine. We car enthusiasts need to stick together no matter what breed of car we own to show these dictators that there will always be that interest and devotion to our cars.
