Following the popularity of the last video the Nexus ICA staff thought it was about time they did another Classic Hooks! Keys tutor, Matt Cossey, has medleyed together 10 more tracks showing the Nord Stage 2 used in a live, band context.

I agree with Rick. This made me want to go out and buy a Nord Stage 2. So I saved for a couple months and just brought it home today. Downloading all the programs from you now. Thank you very much for making these available. You guys rock!

Wow! This is great! Unfortunately I just own a Nord Electro 4HP, so that the programs will not work but it would be great to have the samples so that a sample library for Nord can also be used.

I have a challenge for Matt, his band and their red nord arsenal: coldplay 'a sky full of stars'. I'm particularly interested if the nord stage can alter the piano piano sound as it sounds in the beginning of the song.

Very well done!! I am considering my first Nord ( been using Kronos) Is it possible to call up sounds randomly ( 46,22 79,11) etc.... on the fly? I’m used to having a number pad that I can do that with. How is it done on a Nord?

You will be able to recreate some aspects but not all - the Piano 2 doesn't have a the synth or organ section so you are a little limited I'm afraid! Good luck!

i think it's the drummer hitting a sample on his pad. You can see his stick moving towards hit right before you hear the sound aswel
