Loved Lita since the 80s. Her music and gtr playing always gives me great vibes. Loved her look. Feminine and rock and roll. Just recently watch videos of her joining Sammy Hagar in Las Vegas. (this week) Great playing.

So, she got her start in a (abused and exploited) band called The Runaways. Her band mate was Joan Jett. Lita was the lead guitarist in that band, and you can see why. She just wanted to play guitar in a band but she knew if she wanted a successful solo career she would have to lead a band of her own and bring the sexiness. She paved the way for Orianthi, Nita Strauss, Lzzy Hale, and others.

Hi. Always love your reactions. I absolut love Lita Ford. Been a fan since the 80,s. Had the hair, the leatherpants ..Just everything. And she is still going strong today and looks amazing. Also being a big fan of Mötley Crüe, Lita had a 2 year long relationship with Nikki Sixx the bassplayer in Mötley Crüe. He was her first big love, but they seperated because of their careers in music and Nikki Sixx was heavy into drugs at the time. But they are good friends today and when they broke up he wrote a song for her called "Falling in and out of Love ". You should read her book, about her life and career...so awesome. Please do more Mötley Crüe. Maybe the song "Primal Scream " with the video.
