He's got other plans man. He ain't going back to music. ...He's doing embarrassing livestreams for 7 people and only gets any notoriety when someone's trashing him.
1:26 I’m no New Yorker but probably true. You’d feel less worried about a guy afraid of being deported, as opposed to a guy who’s probably on probation after doing 11 months for aggravated domestic assault & on the edge… At least before 2021, nowadays no one’s afraid of deportation.
You can tell the blues stinks because the only defense anyone ever comes up for it was that INFLUENCED other music, nothing about the actual blues. Beowulf and The Odyssey INFLUENCED a ton of fiction, but they've been completely unreadable for close to a thousand years now. and there's nothing worse than a fanboy defending a band with "You have to listen to it live!" (fucking Opie trying to come off as a music connoisseur. The dope is a Coldplay fan, for fuck's sake)
We are gathered here to honor the life of a beloved Sprinfield musician, Blood and Guts Murphy-- "it was Bleeding GUMS Murphy!!" *yeesh* Anyway, Bloody Gums Murphy was quite the acomplished Sousaphone player
I agree that some blues is self indulgent. BUT Ant crosses the line by ripping Into Stevie Ray Vaughn, just listen to crossfire the man was incredible.
that wasn't Stevie Ray Vaughan's guitar. His guitars were: 'his first wife/No 1' 'Main' and 'Lenny'. He may have used it in a studio session or something like that, as he used various guitars in the studio, but his brother Jimmy owns all of his guitars except for 'Lenny', which he donated to auction for a benefit for Eric Clapton. It was bought by Guitar Center for $623,500. Jimmy allows them to be displayed at museums and other special venues, but only for brief periods. He turned down an offer of 2 million for 'No1'. So, if that was one of Stevie's actual guitars... it wouldn't be hanging on the wall in a Hard Rock Cafe... it'd be in a case and inaccessible to the public, mainly to keep people like this moron from doing ignorant shit like that.
@@SIX6SIXer I believe his explanation was that guitars should be played, not hung on a wall. I think thats an appropriate attitude for a rocker. North was/is a bit of a nut, but an extremely talented guitarist.
I agree. but u have to listen to Ray Charles rendition of Three Bells. Sopranos. Ray Charles brought that song into a different universe. But I agree with Ant
I love metal but some of these bands that put out 6-12 min songs drive me insane. I can't stand it. We get it you're good at sweeps and arpeggios and harmonics. I like 3-4 1/2 min songs.. I play drums and would never partake in anything self serving. No one wants to hear me doin solos for 5 mins.
Whilst I certainly understand the criticism's directed at 'the Blues', I think the best it has to offer (Little Walter, John Lee Hooker) is absolutely fantastic.
12 bar blues is garbage, and seems to be the only blues that Anthony really dislikes. Lightnin Hopkins, BB King, Bukka White, even some Delta blues like Charley Patton is excellent.
yeah ant... all of Alice n Chains songs sound completely different... and there's nothing self-indulgent about being a heroin addict that not only kills himself, but the careers of his fellow band mates as well.🤘
If you can't stand long solos, you probably haven't learned to live in the moment. Your constantly wanting something else and are never satisfied with what you have right in front of you.
The blues is about expression, telling a story. People don't always get it cause they have no soul to understand the message. But it's okay most people are shit these days and would rather listen to the crap on the radio.
the tradional blues suck.. The srv like copycats that's there millons of and they are horrible.. I like the 60's 70's blues based hard rock and hate the twangy tradional garbage
I'm playing need for speed while listening and as soon as they started talking about Stevie ray badass a guy named badassrobmcleod joined my lobby, lol
SRV is the most overrated guitar player of all time. Not a hint of originality and anyone can shred the minor pentatonic scale after 3 years of playing.
