I may have double counted a few enemy regiments. I'll be moving house over the next couple of weeks but I can't wait to close this series out with you on my return!

If you accept the tree man’s mission you lose an opportunity to gain a magic item in the next mission.

I actually didn't know that, that would explain the magic item that people were telling me I was missing! I was quite annoyed as I did my best to keep the treeman alive, and he just kept dying!

Wights are a rough matchup against a treeman, as their weapons are capable of dealing multiple wounds. That probably explains why they kept chopping him down.

am just wondering: is there a limit to the number of units you can deploy in the missions? Am just not quite sure why you would deploy some units, but not others, esp in the final level against the Dread King. Could just be me not knowing the mechanics, but I thought that especially for that mission, you'd want all of your army strength in play.

There is a limit yeah! And because you invest gold into armour upgrades, you want to take in units you're investing into.
