I"ve seen many tutorials some good and some not so good, but your tutorial is by far the best in the way you are understanding how we (want to be & beginners) need to be taught and understand what is going on, to begin with. Im in Barber School, the scissors and comb are the hardest part for me. Blending and layering the hair properly with shears definitely takes a ton of practice to develop the technique and eye.

The sides i comb them back but the edges i go with the grain of the hair

good and helpful .i like ur 3 finger technique. i have one doubt , can we star cutting hair from the sides ? i am beginner. i tried , sometimes it is leading to shorten hair in the middle.
