Sean P said "Wapbabalubop-awopbamboo, Cops got a few glocks and popped Amadou (Diallo)". NIGGGGGGAAAA! They should've just stopped & all went home after that SMFH R.I.P. Sean Price
Lol Sean's legendary wit makes me hesitate to reply to this , thinking you guys are just playin' life experience has taught me you're probably not. So here goes. Can't believe I'm explaining this. "Dead ass" is normal run or the mill street slang that dirextky translates into "Straight up", only denoting almost a blown mind, more like, "yo, (can you believe) Sean P dead ass said... " your welcome. The streets ain't for you homie
man I thought I was the only one that made the Sean Price/Patrice connection almost like they were the most honest humans in their respective professions
"I'm the type that clap 6 in ya front/ smoke a blunt on ya porch/ then support Black History Month" Fuck, this is why Sean is my favorite MC, and biggest inspiration riP
Sean I agree .. Meth tho you're wilding. He's for sure a legend and can come correct whenever he feels like it these days, but a prime Budden vs. a prime Meth and Budden's mopping him up every time. Budden is just better technically, and if they were ever beefing Meth would definitely come with some grimey tough shit that Joe couldn't do, but Joe's much more cerebral and makes you think with his rhymes, and his metaphor/refferance game is on point in a way that Meth's isn't.
That's Sean P domain after all! Freestyle rap. Joe Budden is not a freestyle rapper, he makes it up with this insane pengame and storytelling. Correct me if I'm wrong.
P fuckin MURDERED these verses. I seen him and Roc in 1995 in Orlando. There were 20 people there. So they jumped into the 'crowd' we had a circle around them and there were mass blunts rolling around passing it to Heltah. Was so fucking hype. The dopest MC. Literally the dopest MC.
I don't understand, Joe killed it. It's just that Sean was better. Just cos one person is better doesn't negate the other guy. Put some respect on Joe's name, he went in.
forgetfulfunctor1 Foh, Joey killed him with lyrics, Price recycled lyrics, you had to read into Joe a bit but the superior hardness was there, Price won because Joe knew he wasn't just rappin...
"I'm red, black, and green with the fist/ but i'm red when the black and green get mixed in a spliff" They should have stopped the track when he dropped that. riP
Come on now while Biggie's career was cut short, he couldn't touch Sean P in a cypher. P is that sick with it and Eminem of today is trash. That odd voice and forced delivery completely outweighs anything he says. Now biggie on the voice front and from a song making perspective is better, but P is the dude you dont want to cypher with out of embarrassment.
Sean P is like the godfather of the rap scene here in NC. Him and Big Daddy Kane helped some of the nicest MCs here. His influence is all over the scene
I'm confused because I thought the South wasn't on this type of time lyrically no disrespect . I could be wrong because alot of young niggas be frontin.
@@traviscarter1023 the south isn't a monolith. You gotta remember that Petey Pablo, Dababy, Rapsody and J. Cole are all from NC. And they all have different sounds. The commercial south and underground south are totally different
nobody sleeping on Joe...but that's SEAN P!!!! I mean damn... u heard it!!! it's like Joe has hot bars that I kinda see coming...Sean p is unpredictable on the mic.. execpt for that fact that it will be crazy and 🔥🔥🔥...r.i.p big twin
Shakur Williams Brooklyn got a strong case for g.b.o.a.t. Kane, Big, Jay, Sean Price, Gang Starr Foundation, Mos Def n Talib, Fab, AZ, Papoose, El-P.. the list goes on forever..
there are still days after all of this time that i cant believe that sean is gone, he was really just getting started, he had so much to contribute to the world through his music.......................
The ONLY bad this about this is that it wasn't longer. If they would've given us another 7 minutes, this would've been historical. Lyrically the BOTH killed it and fed off of each other. Joe knew he was up there with a legend and acknowledged it on air in the midst of everything, so what did Joe do? He stepped up and met Sean and rode with him. Sean P is just flat out one of the best bar for bar lyricist EVER, duke just wanted to rap....I miss him, but he fed us well! #SeanP
@@KNETWORK100 were you there? If not, I will say that the comment was directed to P, who replied the way he did to tell Joe, man if you want to spar go at it and don't try to give compliments. He was competitive with his craft.
just when you think its over, sean p comes back in and kills shit.......... this was one of the tracks that hooked me on sean p back in 2002-2005 .... first was hearing him on the GTA3
nah i listened to all of it... the donkey sean jr mixtape hooked me on sean p and heltah skeltah ... then from there i bumped every single BCC track every created
yo that list is fiya but i have to replace Supernatural with eminem i kno mad cats gonna be upset but thats who i got people sleep im em cuz hes white but your list is what i got too except Supernatural
+Adam Whitney Joe Budden was not supposed to get on the mic, he grabbed it and started spitting, it was disrespectful and Sean P stepped up and showed he was superior.
+Adam Whitney Why not? This was "Sean P and Buckshot Live on Hot 97 DJ Clue Monday Nights" Not Sean P Buckshot and Joe Budden. He was just there chilling and got on an open mic. He was not supposed to drop anything but chose to do so during Sean and Bucks freestyle session, that is what happened and it is disrespectful.
+xXimf4m0usXx Never heard Sean P speak on it, this is just boring fans making shit up. Great job by both emcees, Buck shot has always sucked, glad they deleted him from this one.
Sorry bro you are wrong, I remember this. It was a Black Moon night, promoting the album Total Eclipse and Sean P was promoting his upcoming album Monkey Bars. Joey grabbed the mic, they Sean P took control and no one else could get a word in haha
