@@chrisbenson1656 - This is me getting greedy but this is also very much due. Full House (the British version) with Brian Capron and Christopher Strauli. That belongs to Fremantle as it was originally Thames Television. Bottle Boys with Robin Askwith is owned by ITV Studios as it was originally LWT. Everything apart from Thames and TVS is ITV Studios. Thames is now with Fremantle and I'm not sure about TVS, but they never really made anything that much. If you do find something you want to show that was TVS you'll have to do some detective work. Out Of Town with Jack Hargreaves (showing my age) isn't owned by anyone I know. It's only because they recently released a Blu-ray of outtakes.
So is Bottle Boys and/or Full House (the British version) possible do you think for Rewind TV? I once called ITV about buying Bottle Boys direct from them. They would put all 13 episodes with 4 on each DVD to avoid too much compression. It's still on tape and only one episode has been digitalised so far. I don't know what for. Anyway, ITV wanted £2060 for this and it didn't even come with subtitles which were on Oracle (remember them?) back in 1984 & 1985. It says it on a RU-vid upload. Maybe they were deleted. It should be even easier now with voice recognition and just patching up some areas where it got it wrong. Maybe there's a Windows software program that does this. Full House must be digitalised at Fremantle as it's been shown on Forces TV. I thought if they could get them you could as well. They were shown in 2021 or 2022 on Forces TV.
So it's repeats of stuff that's repeated on various other channels anyway and they then rerepeat the same repeats. I'm repeating myself but it's just repeats of average shows.
Could you show more fairy unknown and forgotten about Classic Comedy Series. Shows like my favourite, Bottle Boys, Full House (UK Version which Forces TV repeated a few years ago), Two In Clover, Up The Elephant And Round The Castle, Home James!, The Lovers, Mixed Blessings, Close To Home, The Two Of Us, Me And My Girl, Home To Roost, Fresh/French Fields. Since the DVD/Blu-ray distribution company Network went bust we're not getting shows like this so much now and they are becoming more expensive as time goes on. Every Network release is now OOP. Please try Bottle Boys though as it's never been officially released anywhere and neither has the UK version of Full House. No doubt if Network had carried on these shows would've eventually been released probably on DVD. I'm sure there are some from the 1990s as well that have been forgotten about. There was Land Of Hope And Gloria in 1990/91 and The Piglet Files. Don't edit out attitudes people think are out of date. Most watches know what to expect and you can put a warning on the station before it starts. It's an insult to the writers and everyone originally involved in making the show.
Andrew - I've passed on your suggestions to Rewind. I do know Zoo Gang is coming soon, as is Jason King... The Cut Price Comedy Show and That's My Dog!
