I always thought it'd be more like the pilots had specialized helmets which would allow them access to exterior cameras that they could see through. IMO it makes pretty decent sense.
@@TexasLawbringer77 Not to mention that the armored one was suppose to still be in the prototype testing stage when the bombs fell. Until Stated otherwise, seems to be liek the Fallout 3 vertibird is that model while the ones seen in Fallout 4 and 76 are an earlier model that was in wide spread service rather than just a visual style change between games. Especially that the Fallout 3 version has Gatling lasers, missiles and mini nuke bombs while the Fallout 4 version has some rinki dink machine guns and a door gun.
Now I don't know if this mod exists but if it does then im sure you could find it or something close, but I want to see a mod that adds the multiple legendary effect system of 76 into Fallout 4.
Wow I was thinking yesterday how great it would be have the vb-02 vertibird in the fallout 4 engine, it’s so cool to see it implemented finally . I hope they are able get the gunship/troop carrier aspect functioning effectively, I’m really excited for that mod.
I think modders would have to create a new skeleton and animation rigging for a huey or other helicopters I think just have BOS have the current Vertibird but have retro helicopters for all the crashed versions
Oops, sorry about that. I’ve since updated the description and added a link to your press release for the project. Excellent work btw, it’s looking great 👍
Personally thought that the Vertibirds from 4 were more in the style of homegrown brotherhood design based on the Enclave VB-02 Vertibirds, as I highly doubt the enclave variant was meant to dock with airships, which I doubt were used by the US military.
One thing I'd like to see modded for the vertibird is how it functions. The vertibird while flying, comes to a stop, then tilts the rotors up, which is the exact opposite of how it works in Real Life(tm). It's a small thing which really doesn't impact playing the game, but still, it's a tiny bit annoying to see these things defy physics. :)
The only issue I found with the Winchester rifle pack was it as of yet at least it is not work with bullet count reload. You shoot one round and hit reload and it will reload your full magazine.
I'll have to look for the Bowie awesome knife right now I'm using the Huntsman in combination with better knife animation, having a larger choice in the knife area would be awesome.........keep up the awesome bids bro me and my boys never miss them🤘you rock bro🤘
You’re sacrificing immersiveness with more immersivness *I used the stones to destroy the stones* Meanwhile Loki opens a Drawer filled with Fucking infinity stones used as paper weights
Sooo... apart from the mods showcased... just which awesome armor mod is your char showing approx. beginning at approx 2:10? Looks very NCR to me but for the life of me I can't find that specific model on Nexus...
It'd make sense for the BoS to go with a more cost-effective Vertibird for the Commonwealth campaign. Those versions aren't well armed and are smaller, so I wager you could make more in a shorter period of time. More 'birds means more boots on the ground all over the region, and more the physical appearance of power and control. Downside is that they're a joke in combat. Enclave Vertibirds needed a fatman or Tesla coil to go down in one hit. The BoS ones? Lol, a stray shot with a pipe pistol can kill the pilot and send that thing spiraling.
VB-02s are the way to go. I'd rather have one good vertibird than 3 bad ones, the more you have the more personnel you need to maintain it, more fuel and more space you need to store them
