In this video! We see another Classic VW BuGs - 1965 Volkswagen Beetle Restoration - Build A BuG ScrapBook - Ruby Red See the resto from start to finish! www.classicvwbugs.com/2013/07/31/hughs-1965-classic-vw-beetle-build-a-bug-project/
Great work! This car was a good platform because it wasn’t modified or hacked up like many that you find. The bodywork was amazing, especially those front panel replacements. Were the floor pans replaced? They looked like they had surface rust but unlike most of them they were not crusty and perforated.
Yo bro this is Big D just got a 58 vw bug. I looked it up it was made in the beginning of the year of 58 first month. Is that a good year let me know bro. Thank s also thank you for the videos that you posted it helps me a lot. ✌️😁
Beautiful interior restoration, so detailed but let down by no carpets - easily fixed Why the aluminium foil strips in back-seat area? Less heat from engine?
The stock look on an interior for a bug is carpet around the perimeter, rubber mat was always the factory look over the tunnel and on the floors. The foil strips in the back? That is sound deadening.
@@classicvwbugs Fair enough. I owned a couple of Beetles myself as well as Fastbacks - and I know the about perimeter carpet & rubber floor mats. And obviously it was to be 100% STOCK. BUT...a little bit of carpeting would have been nice (lol), to match the excellent colour/fabric seats.
This really makes me want to get going on my project. I have a 67 sunroof with the body off and pan just about ready for blasting...then I got lazy on it...sad face
Hey dudes!! Restoring a 66 bug, anyways the question is, does anybody know the tire and white wall size of this car ! I need this classic look! Needing help
I see you selected a larger diameter 12 Volt Generator for the 65 Beetle. Why didn't you consider a "rebuilt" smaller diameter 12 Volt Porsche Generator to keep it pure stock looking ?
