Great work! This car was a good platform because it wasn’t modified or hacked up like many that you find. The bodywork was amazing, especially those front panel replacements. Were the floor pans replaced? They looked like they had surface rust but unlike most of them they were not crusty and perforated.

Perfect timing to go with my breakfast.....side note have you ever restored a car to a shade of dark brown

My 65 doesn't have the D-Ring for the horn. Was that something that changed mid 65?

I see you selected a larger diameter 12 Volt Generator for the 65 Beetle. Why didn't you consider a "rebuilt" smaller diameter 12 Volt Porsche Generator to keep it pure stock looking ?
