This is tremendous!! I am blown away! I actually enjoyed watching this more than the huge trifolds used by everyone else, especially for the littles. It allows them to focus on what is right in front of them instead of all the other items. Seeing you and your husband as he was sitting there holding the binder, made me cry. So beautiful. You are doing amazing work and I have loved learning from you. This may be my official first You Tube comment, but after all these years on here, you deserved it! You are a true example of a loving Mother and one we could all pray to be more like. Your constant joy, patience and happiness is contagious. Thank you for everything you do! They are so darling! We just finished our first year of CC and won't be doing it in an official community next year unfortunately. We felt like for the price, I could do it at home. Also, our community was a little bit meh... definitely not what I was expecting, but I LOVE the curriculum.
I'm so sorry your community experience wasn't great. 😔 I hope y'all have fun with it at home. It's definitely possible it just takes a little more planning. 😉
Yes! Thank you! That's what I was hoping for. We still plan on joining a community but we just couldn't right now. :( But God has provided and the kids are loving "Saturday school." :)
They are so adorable. You have such a beautiful family. This will be our first year with CC 2020-2021. We are looking forward to it, although not sure how community day will look like due to covid-19.
So excited for you Veronica! Yeah, not sure what's going to happen. At the end of last year we all met on Zoom and our director gave us all our science experiment supplies to do at home. It was ok but it doesn't beat being able to meet face to face. Where do you live? How is it going over there??
I love your office and want mine to look the same! Could you tell where you found your decor? Also, I'd love to see a video on how you balance your RU-vid work with homeschooling. I'm a photographer and in the midst of busy season, and find it so tricky every year. I think my boys' ages are similar to your kiddos (7, 5, 2).
Oh thank you! Everything came from either IKEA or Target. There are probably little random things here and there but for the most part those are the places I shopped for decor. :) That's a great suggestion for a video! Life is a balancing act isn't it? I will put that on my video list. But what first comes to mind is that I try to only "work" during nap/quiet time. Your situation might be a little different because you have to go out of the house. I know it's hard and it took me a little bit to find the balance. Thanks for the encouragement!
This is such a great idea. We did a year of CC and liked it. But after having a baby with with health concerns and thinking we were going to move across the country, we didn’t rejoin. But I kept my book thinking I might use it myself down the road. 😊 Looks like y’all had a great family day.
@@PursuingPeace Thanks. Do you plan to continue to the other levels from home? I think for Essentials and Challenge it is harder to follow from home, I plan to follow it loosely and include resources from other curriculums :-)
