Classical Playtesting on LOTUS Mouthpieces!  

Here’s a playtesting session with Andrew Smith, a young, talented Classical player who came to see us at ITG 2023.
You’ll see the process he goes through, trying some of our most popular cups: the L and the L2 in both Brass and Bronze.
Like many other players playing a traditional Bb trumpet, he found the L2 cup in Bronze to be the winner. The L2 cup provides a crisp, clear articulation while the Bronze helps to enrichen the sound. So with a L2 cup in Bronze, you sort of get the best of both worlds.
