Marcus has always been rad and this is one of his better parts, including his crazy, unexpected Hubba Hideout ender. Beagle One-ism intoduces a classic part from 1996.
🤔 ...In the end Marcus wrecks the sh!t outta the original SF 'Hubba hideout'... Even though the whole part is a def classic feelgood part... The Heelflip BS 50-50 was dope asf. And kinda 'unusual', or better yet personal -trick choice. The BS Tailslide also was fn dope, and a stylish one. RIP Hubba hideout.
@@Make_Ukraine_Russia_Again, yeah, I did catch that switch heel 50. I was skating UCLA in 1996. Richard Mulder was there; I was a kid and I chatted with him for a bit. He told me to "watch Trilogy" ASAP. It had just come out. I did and he was right. This heel 50 was bonkers. You're right about it not moving with your body. It's a lot easier to do it with a kickflip -- kudos to Paul Shier and Marc Johnson for kickflip 50-50ing Hubba. Marcus' heelflip back tail on the JKwon ledge was also sick. He was just one of those rare guys who could heelflip effortlessly. Not too many existed in the '90s. Neen Williams really shook that trick up.
Hell Yeah! I remember hanging with Lavar and Marcus at the Fell ST (Karl W.) house back in the day. Maurice Key also had just started to skate at that time. Maurice would ride around with us on his bike and borrow people’s boards to skate. lol Those guys were sick and cool as fuck. Those were the days. Circa 1993-94
for u people,im a skater and i skate mongo switched, and theres no problem with that there not even a problem doing it ur regular stance,if it feels comfortable to u then u do it the way u want
I like how his fliptricks are over big shit ,like full sized ledges and makes it look so effortless, seen him live in Baltimore at the zumiez tour ,amazing to really see in person ,awesome demonstration of big ,huge tre's over the gaps and everything...
i ride goofy stance but do all my tricks regular stance, i can also ride regular stance, but i push mongo while riding regular stance. what the hell should i do?
Dude is gnarly FOR SURE!! But i never understood the Mongo & Switch being a big deal.. Most skaters hated Switch back in 90's. Skaters(myself included) didn't care that pros we're doing Switch anything. Switch kinda kills HalfCabs & Fakie anything.. To each his own though.. FYI though= FACT, most weren't down w/ switch...
im sick of kids with the "mongo" comments. learn your history. EVERYONE pushed mongo switch back then. we only cared if you pushed mongo in your regular stance back in the 90s. infact, back then the only people who pushed regular switch were the ones who started off pushing mongo
This was in 1996 when nobody was hating on world industries due to the fact that it was a raw skateboard brand. Now they sell their shit in walmart and toys r us.
madcircle then 101 then world then deca than luckies with henry sanchez then back to deca then finally dgk. apart from lucky ,yes the bearings company that tried to put out a deck company for a few months in the early 2000,s boom. he does have a part on all these companies videos at the time he was on them. data report over.
There's people who push switch and it's just MAAD ugly. You don't push with your heel touching the ground first you push with the ball of your feel people.
