In this webinar, we will explore how to secure cloud and on-premises data with Microsoft Information Protection and the AIP on-prem scanner. We will focus on three key topics: Classifying and Protecting Data, Automatic Labeling of Sensitive Information, and applying classification and protection labels to on-premise data using the Azure Information Protection Scanner.
1. Classifying and Protecting Data:
We will discuss how Microsoft Information Protection enables organizations to classify and protect sensitive data in their on-premises environment. We will cover how to create sensitivity labels and policies that define how sensitive data should be classified and protected, and how to apply these policies to on-premises data. We will also demonstrate how files with sensitivity labels can be encrypted to certain users and identities, locking down access to sensitive information only to those who are authorized to view or edit it.
2. Automatic Labeling of Sensitive Information:
We will cover how Information Protection identifies sensitive information across your M365 environment based on pre-defined patterns and keywords, and how it can automatically apply the appropriate AIP label and policy to that information. We will also discuss how to customize and refine the automatic labeling rules to better suit organizational requirements. Finally, we will show you how to configure the AIP on-prem scanner to scan for sensitive files/data in your on-prem repositories and apply the correct labels and policies.
