In the story, they make her seem like the villain who only wants to harm Ayanokoji, but in reality, she's the one who most wants Ayanokoji to stay in school. Currently, it's her greatest amusement and the only thing that entertains her. That's why she would do anything to prevent Ayanokoji from being expelled in any way. All the challenges she poses to Ayanokoji are just for fun, and she doesn't actually want to harm him; she just wants to play with him. What's funniest is that Ayanokoji knows this perfectly well. That's why he's never shown any resentment towards Sakayanagi, and why he goes along with her without worrying too much about her. It even seems like Ayanokoji likes Sakayanagi's personality. Also, it's because in a way, Ayanokoji owes a favor to Sakayanagi's father, so he doesn't have anything against her. Yamaguchi's expulsion was actually all part of Sakayanagi's plan and had nothing to do with Ayanokoji. She wanted to expel Yamaguchi because in the early episodes of season 3, Yamaguchi bumped into Sakayanagi, causing her to fall, and he didn't apologize properly. From then on, she held a grudge against Yamaguchi and created that plan to expel him.

Yeah also, in the first exam, yamakuchi hit sakayanagi accidentally and called her airhead, which might also be the reason why she expelled him ( just a hunch)😅.

As an working adult that watch this show, I can assure you Its just like a miniature of this era working environment, apart from Ayanokouji well he is the protagonist after all, but the other people that get connected in this episode will show every single type of people that you are working with in the future. One piece of advise to people that going to enter this era of working environment, pick your choice and decision wisely that make you feel the least regret

I know yamadog played the perfect clown this episode but hirata is the whole circus. Not only he went against a perfectly logical decision but also made a pointless ruckus. What's more, he even resorted with the pointing finger just to defend a traitor lmao what a hypocrite. Glad his attempt is vain. He's the second one who deserves to be expelled next imo.
