Your room looks nice w/ your personal touch which gives me ideas for my own so bless! Personally I think the less tape on the board means the board looks less cluttered even though you have to be careful to write very straight, plus it's less to clean off later.

@@AmandaMonroe I've used Pocketful of Primary's TPT product with book bins (when I taught 3rd grade). This system was great except for the extra expense of getting more book bins when I purchased more books. It's tricky trying to purchase the same bins because companies always change the colors. The years I taught 4th, 5th, and 6th, there was no system 😂 The last few years in 1st grade, I've used the system left to me by the previous teacher. I didn't need to buy any books. However, they were organized in Dollar Tree bins (which are very flimsy), so the handles were always breaking. Students would match the book cover's sticker to the bin Now I'm considering Molly Malloy's rainbow Avery label system (it's one of the most popular ones on TPT for upper elementary teachers). No bins necessary!
