I’m doing a eucalyptus and farmhouse theme in my room this fall and you have given me so much inspo! I love your classroom. I love how you added the black and white boarder to the wood-like bulletin board space. 🤍👏🏽

I know this is a little late but to keep those shelves longer I would take another board and paint it white and stick it in the middle of those shelves to help with the weight all the way down. Mainly on the one with the loose books the others I would think would be fine. Those books will make those shelves sag fairly quickly and might as well toss a board in there to keep it a few extra years then let it look all saggy and replace it earlier.

Aw thank you! I did throw some stuff away that was just not useful anymore. Other stuff I was able to put in our schools storage room. My school’s custodians were super accommodating with getting rid of furniture that I didn’t need anymore!

You can always staple the dry earase paper to the board, can't you? Also it might stick to the wall or door. 😊

Since the board is a chalk board, staples would not work /: Don't worry though, I figured it out! You should see in day 4's vlog 😁

How did you get the lights to stay on the wall? Like what did you use?

I used the mini command hooks, but instead of using the sticky tape that came with it we hot glued them to the wall! Hot glue works really well on cement walls and doesn’t damage them!

I really didn't start purchasing many myself until this summer! Majority of them have been donated to me by friends and family 😊 If you are trying to build a classroom library I would have around for donations first! You never know what people would want to give away (:
