Ahhh I lived in Thibodaux when I went to Nicholls. I grew up in Raceland and got my start in Lafourche parish at Raceland Middle. I absolutely love the bayou and miss it so much.

I’m so happy I found your videos. I’m going into year 6 as a 3rd grade teacher and have found your videos to be so refreshing because we have very similar thoughts on classroom setup. I’ve been told my room looks boring but I don’t think it’s an effective room if it’s all decor for sake of decor. Also I love your realness. Have a great school year! I’m excited to keep watching. Omg I miss teaching science. I did 5th grade science and s.s last year. It was so fun. I will be teaching ela this year but science and s.s are my preference. I loved the Amplify curriculum.

LESS 👏🏼 IS 👏🏼 MORE!!!! I am walking into year 18. Talk about not having the energy or time… or the money!!! It literally takes me maybe 3 hours to set up my room. I am very minimal and use every inch of wall space for academics throughout the year. I personally don’t like the desk skirt but I’m simply not that person… if you like it then rock it! I also don’t put up anything that is personal. 🤷🏻♀️ I’ve found I need work to be work and home to be home. I have a very hard line when it comes to work/life balance. Love your windows. 💜
