This is going to sound so overkill: I recently had a miscarriage and was very down about it, felt rubbish in myself both physically and mentally and just wanted to hibernate and wear joggers 24/7… your videos genuinely helped me to get my mojo back. I’ve always admired your style and have followed for ages but after Xmas I essentially did a huge de-clutter of my wardrobe, bought some staple pieces based on your recommendations, and genuinely feel like more of a human again. I know it sounds so bizarre but your videos have honestly helped me to get out of the house again - so thank you! Xxxx

I’m also in my 50’s…actually I’ll be 60 next year 😱. Anyway, my wardrobe is very similar to Lydia’s. I think that’s the best part of dressing in classic basics…they are ageless.

I really love that you frequently remind your audience that we don't need to go and buy the clothes you are showing but to use what is in our wardrobe to catch the essence of your style ideas. Almost all the other fashion you tube channels are exhausting and draining to watch because they focus on making their audience buy and buy without end . I am a fan since the early days of your channel.

About difference between audience climates, I lived in Belgium where the climate is similar to England, 7 years ago in Canada when winter is long , at least 6 month, snowy and cold in winter, and hot in summer which is 2-4 month depending on years, now I moved 2 years ago to the sunny south of France, not far from Spain and barcelona I subscribed to your Chanel in the first confinement period and still enjoy your videos I got rid of my heavy, furry coat and replaced them with trench coat as winter is not that long nor cold as in England or Canada, using jumpers to add that bit of warm when needed. I could not have a lot of use of classy outfits as you because the area where I live now is rural and I don’t work so I don’t need that much of outfits You inspire me in the ways of balancing, jazzing, lifting an ordinary subtile outfit I am also a big fan of Polene Paris bags, I got 2 of them and plan to have the belt you showed in your last video for my birthday... I , for many years, was buying in sales and thrifting and from time to time some brands ...now that I settled in France, in a contemporary house, aiming to minimize my belonging and getting back to essentials and to my first love of earthy colors Thanks to you Keep up the work you are doing

Hi Lydia, love your videos they have helped me a lot. What I struggle with is colouring. A lot of influencers wear oatmeal, nude and camel which I love but for someone with light ash blonde hair and reddy pinky skin they wash me out. Do you have any tips for that please? x
Maybe the colour navy would suit you better? Also, these influencers wear a lot of self tanners and makeup, maybe that’s why they look good in oatmeal colours? ✨

I love your videos so much. I would love to see more dress styling but for a warmer winter. I like how the long dresses look with long coats but I would be suffocating in that in California and struggle with trying to find lighter jackets that look good with dresses.

Lydia, how do you like the 30 Montaigne Dior bag? Do you have to be vey careful with it? I have read many opinions that it scratches easily and the golden colour on hardware is coming off. I am really hesitating now to buy it. Can you share your opinion?

Outfits 2 and 6 are my favourites. Could you do a feature on styling straight jeans as I read my skinny ones are on their way out. Being 5'2 I'm struggling to get wider leg jeans to work with flats.

Funnily enough I was really worried about scratches, I unfortunately got one scratch on it the same week I bought it (not really visible), but since then it hasn’t scratched once and that’s about 4 months ago! So in general it’s pretty hard wearing - I think my first scratch was an unfortunate fluke! ❤️

I realise that you are very slim ( lucky you) but occasionally could you touch on ideas for the plus size lady....for example it is hard to tuck tops in if you carry extra weight and belts can be a nightmare...thanks Lydia...you are one classy young lady...Jane North Wales
The only thing I do not enjoy, and this is just a general statement, is this "New York" style of walking around with your jacket wide open. I see many influencers style outerwear this way. If you live in colder climates you need to be able to go from puffer wrapped in Sherpa wrapped in fleece to being presentable indoors with your winter boots on. Nothing against Lydia, I just find the style is specific to UK winters. I think my suggesting would be to do a video that highlights winter wear around the globe. I'd love to see that.
I dont know why, but when I watch your videos with headphones on, I only hear your "speaking" sound on one side, the other one is just the music... just wanted to let you know!
So you create the perfect balanced outfit…. But then you go somewhere you have to take your coat off, put the bag down and probably take your shoes off … the look is ruined…. Now what ? No one ever talks about the “in between “ 🤷🏼♀️
