I can totally see why this guy won. Perfect feel. I forgot he was a contestant, and thought they were all just doing what they do best.. He rode the wave all the way to the end. Amazing control. Those slides, and my hands wanted to go up and start swaying left to right. Congrats to Tristano! He earned it.

Devono essere molto orgogliosi. Non mi piace quando i commenti sono fatti che dicono che una persona è solo copiando un altro musicista. Questi critici sono di solito in errore e molti sono risibili, come i commenti fatti su di te qui. Ovviamente, queste persone in realtà non studiano performance di musica. Ho studiato composizione e le prestazioni, e ha giocato molti generi di musica, ma 20 anni fa scoperto malattie della colonna vertebrale che si è conclusa la mia capacità di suonare qualsiasi strumento. Sono 5 anni più di Vince Gill. Ho avuto interventi chirurgici ed è stato difficile da affrontare in un primo momento, ma io sono ancora una persona molto felice deliziati da continui successi dei miei amici. Non vedo l'ora di seguire il vostro viaggio, la tua carriera.

I though the Arielle girl was a bit better, little more unique but I get why this dude won. He's very talented, his fills were on point, tone was great and the slide was tasteful. Sometimes slide can be too bright and annoying but this was a bit darker which is good.
And I beg to differ with Patricio Aguilo. To start with, he stays high on the neck & never changes modes. His runs are totally different. I could go on. Obviously he has studied many of the greats- we could even draw comparisons to Clapton, early Paige & Prince. We could even draw a comparison to his slide technique to Bonnie Raitt. Why must all young musicians be compared? The solo was his own, his talent is his own & in ten years young guitarists will be compared to him. Give him his due. Remember when Jimmy, Eric & Keith were studying the old blues guitarists of the USA?
CONGRATS to this guy but still.Arielle should have won, he sounds like he will fit in perfectly with every other pro guitarist in Nashville but she has a lot more personality and individuality in her playing.
I mean his solo was great. But the Coda chords of this are just Perfect for Soloing with feel. But I liked Arielle more, because of creativity and sound. But she was very humble, so she didn‘t win. The Strat Sliding was way too present throughout that wonderful song.
sorry, but Co-Finalist Arielle was better IMHO (more creativity in sounds, even more feeling and much better Song-serving). This is technically great, but way too much selfish. best part ist the slide-part
