Hi Mark, do you have any advice on painting with the farrow and ball estate eggshell and also the f&b primer, painting my mother in laws kitchen and wanted to know if you water it down of can use an additive in the paint to help with laying off? Thanks in advance and great work 👍
Steven Mcfarlane I find Helmi the same as the Furniture paint , feelings , no problem at all , 👍🏻 Intact is tremendous, in my mind their best waterborne so far 👌🏻 I’ve been using Tikkurila for 16 plus years , fantastic paints & coatings
Mark Nash on your recommendation I used empire on a kitchen, superb. Helmi I’ve used a few times. Sprayed it, rolled and brushed. Didn’t like how it behaved rolled ( 4 inch ). Intact I’ve bought for a job but been told they are pulling it till they reformulate it.
James Petts apparently it’s drying too fast and over existing paints it pulls coatings underneath and cracks. On Decorators forum guy put pics up. It looked like crackle finish. Rep told me they have issues with it. I bought 10 litres intact 8. Jobs been postponed so don’t know if I should use it or back to Helmi. Bought it because it’s an enamel.
