Now that I think of it, I think would like to marry someone who knows how to build forts, carries heavy groceries and is not afraid to admit farting. Maybe that kid was on to something.
You would expect of someone who is the next Bachelor to have had more screen time but he has had very little and seems like the producers did him a bit dirty in editing. Hopefully that will be remedied in his season which I am looking forward to seeing!
Totally. I don't think she would've picked Martin but she needed to hear it. Reminds me of the baggage comment from Emily's season. Some comments should not be kept from the lead.
The guys who snitched actually did it with good intentions as opposed to the here for right reasons triad in Katie’s season. Rick and Olu legitimately did it for Michelle and were correct, rather than Tre, Aaron and James who just lead witch hunt after witch hunt.
I agree, and I truly believe him when he was like “I’m not saying this to gain anything, but to help you because I care for you.” Martin’s comments were massive red flags and something she definitely should know about unlike most of the stuff tattlers normally reveal
But he didn’t say exactly what Martin said. He put certain words in his mouth and put Martin in a spot where he couldn’t defend himself. And when he did, she got frustrated and said he wasn’t listening.
It's truly baffling how little they showed of Clayton. They had every opportunity to show him throughout the season. He seems like a fairly goofy, easy-going guy, and that alone can go a long way if we see enough of it (just look at how lovable guys like Rodney are). That ending with the letter from the kids was sweet, but would've been waaaay more impactful if we were already rooting for him. Such a weird move by producers/editors.
I do applaud both Rick and Olu for being honest and very genuine towards Michelle. I was also very happy to see Martin leave after what he did to her. He should’ve gone a while ago in my books but hey better late than never.
Martin is the type of guy almost every woman dates once in her lifetime, where you ignore some red flags because he has you convinced that you imagined them until you introduce him to your friends who tell you straight that he’s raising more red flags than russia in the 50s
@@chinoj5066 not necessarily in my book. At the start of a relationship it’s easy to overlook red flags because you get wrapped up in the excitement. It’s important to listen to the people who love and know you, when they raise concerns tho. In some chases if a person deliberately lies to cover their tracks, makes you feel crazy for pointing out inconsistencies, engages in general hypocrisy or similar behaviour, that can be considered gaslighting.
So you’re telling me that they had fine af Mr “warm chocolate chip cookie” himself Olu and they picked Clayton for Bachelor?! Can I sue for emotional damages?
What I am wondering, now that Clayton is gone, is what happened with the footage of him saying: "You're an actor and you came on a reallity TV show" that they have been using in previews the whole season!?
When he got eliminated and he said goodbye to Michelle’s students, I thought the other guys were going to stop by and say bye to Clayton and someone brought up Martin making that comment about Clayton going home and Clayton confronts Martin by calling him an actor.
Olu is a king for this .he knew he was likely going home, and wanted to be sure michelle ended up with a good guy. The things flying out of Martin's mouth were just steaming hot garbage utter ,and total trash.
Michelle seems like the best bachelorette at figuring out red flags, talking maturely about it ,and sending the right people home . She doesn't put up with bs at all.
If I am being honest, I agree with you, Cierra Crawford! Lol. Honestly, I believe the Producers prompted/encouraged the kids to pick Clayton! I think Clayton was selected because Martin, Joe, Rodney, Rick, and Nayte already had one on one dates. And Brandon was going to have one later that week. I just think she found Olu to be an upstanding man with integrity.
@@shajuandacampbell1008 I think Clayton won because he made the fort. From what I saw all the kids loved that fort. They were engaged in building the fort and met them on their level , speaking to them on their terms. They looked like they were completely eating it up.
Martin the misogynist, the manipulator, the mansplainer 🤢 I’m still sad we got robbed of more time with Leroy so Martin could flash those tips and whine some more 🤬
I did not like how he cut off Michelle. Martin seems like the type of guy who you can have a “guys night out on the town” with. However IMO he should have gone on Miami shore (if such a show exists) rather than the bachelorette. IMO he is not even close to being ready for marriage. He should just live his life, have fun then when he settles down, he should make an appearance on BIP in 2-5 more years!!!
“Flavortown”. 😂 No one will ever beat your sense of humour Chris. There’s a lot of recappers out there, but your edits, commentary (plus you’re always spot on with the serious stuff) I hope you start getting the sponsors you deserve so much!
Clayton never asked Michelle any personal questions like someone trying to get to know her, his questions was about the Process and her confidence like he was Promised a Season before Michelle's Season began!!!
Yes gave me production plant vibes. He was gonna be the next bachelor no matter what. Even his exit was super extraa and set him up to be the next bachelor. Never have ever seen that before
I can’t lie, Rick and nayte look so dang good in the night portion. Like the black button up outfit, yeah. And nayte cream sweater, and for some reason I know they smelled good too😭
my current prediction order/bootlist: 4th - Rodney - just don't see him going any further 3rd - Brandon - adorable, but don't think he's mature enough 2nd - Joe - seems like a great person, but too quiet 1st - Nayte - love him and Michelle together! I'm foreseeing a "battle" of the last two, where Michelle is torn between them because they're so different
Don't underestimate Brandon, he already has met the parents, and Michelle choosing him for This date means a lot! The dad that says is son isn't ready for marriage is in the most trouble!
Clayton is such a repeat of bachelors, up until last night I had zero idea why they picked him. Now I have a little idea. But I would still like to see someone like Olu or Brandon get a chance.
So my wife and I were watching this episode and when Clayton starts crying, she’s like, “I never knew that guys want kids that badly.” I was like, “Uh we have 2 kids…. Yes, guys do want to be dads, badly,”
The producers sending the kids in the day after Clayton was eliminated felt SO forced like they just needed a crying moment for the bachelor edit. It's honestly irritating me because it's so clear they didn't even begin to consider any of Michelle's other men.
I also realized as I was watching this that they picked Clayton because he is white. The final four is all men of color after people’s reactions to Matt James season, I sadly knew they weren’t going to pick a guy of color. As much as it feels like there is a push for more diversity on the show, did you notice that after Rachel and Matt’s overnight they didn’t show them waking up in bed? It would have been to much for white America to see yet. I will watch Clayton’s season now because I can tell he is genuine but I hope we continue to see more diverse leads and casts.
I can’t believe you didn’t mention Brandon asking Michelle’s parents for their blessing!! Maybe it’s just me but I found it to be a bit cringe🥴 like he would have had a chance to do that if he is in the final two.
This is what I said! It was like a last ditch effort to get in good with her parents. And I do like Brandon a lot, just thought he was being a bit of a beg
The vibes he had with her parents was as smooth and natural as it could have been. If I was Brandon I would have planted the seed for asking for dads permission down the road rather than flat out do it at that moment. But that’s just me.
The end credit scene of this epsiode has one of the children saying that Clayton should be the next bachelor and I couldn’t help but laugh when it happened
Olu deserved so much more! Idk about subjecting him to being on the bachelor, but it seems like people like him and want to see him again! I have a big paracrush on that guy.
was I the only one that felt like clayton crying abt wanting a family was so fake ?? like nothing against him but I was cracking up bc it looked so forced!! bachelor prods setting him up for real
I don’t like Martin cutting off Michelle but outside of that, he seems like he should be a fun guy to have a guys night out on the town with. He shouldn’t be on a show looking for marriage. IMO he is not there yet. Same with Jamie.
So let me get this straight: for the first time in bachelor history 5 out of the top 6 men are POC, and producers STILL chose a boring hunky white guy as their lead?? I got nothing against Clayton. He seems like a nice guy and I’m somewhat excited for his season (he doesn’t seem like the type of go on for fame hopefully). I just don’t understand why it seems like producers make an effort to not choose male of color leads. Because imo, Nayte, Olu, Mike Johnson, Joe (maybe), Rodney, Brandon, and maybe maybe maybe Ivan (if he could redeem himself next paradise) are all perfect candidates for bachelor, obviously excluding whoever Michelle picks. Clayton was a non-factor all season. He feels like a producer plant. It’s just crazy how he got zero screen time all season and one 40 minute forced bachelor edit yet still the bachelor… they could’ve at least shown some Clayton and Michelle footage each episode to hook us in somewhat. I hope they make up for this. Edit: I forgot about Andrew S. Andrew S is another seemingly great candidate. His close friendship with Greg does raise red flags for me but I’d still be open to see him be the lead
Sounds harsh but I don’t think Rodney and Brandon are tall/good looking enough to be the lead. Naytes off the table. Joe has the looks but he’s too reserved. I heard there was some hush hush reason they couldn’t choose Mike (a rumor but who knows). Ivan is annoying/thirsty. Olu would be a good bachelor I think, but similar to Clayton, I think he needs a BiP season under his belt to establish himself more as a personality. But Olu could work. I think they chose Clayton as their Colton do-over smh
@@Maggie-ot8vx I feel like if Rodney were to grow out his hair he would be more attractive? He’s my current favorite. He’s funny and likable. Brandon is a bit too young looking tbh. If I had to choose I’d want olu too
@@countessofmontecristo3849 My only offense is not acknowledging biracial men as being black. In every way they are treated like other black people. Colorism is real, but a different issue.
Was Rodney even considered as the next bachelor? Is there a poll or something where fans can vote for the next bachelor????? Nothing against Clayton .... but .... Rodney is the WHOLE package.
So strange that they had a whole season to make us like Brolton, but failed and then had to add all those cringe sections with the kids. How did they screw up his edit so badly?!?
Did anyone notice a huge shift in Michelle's demeanor from the first part of her date with Clayton to the evening portion? My husband and I thought he might've accidentally said something that bothered her that they didn't show...
Bachelor Fantake: You left out the part where they actually started the Clayton-as-Bach pimping while still on his date with Michelle. With her saying the whole "you are enough just as you are" themed season.
From this Top 4..my assessments are: 1. Rodney: loveeee him! He's super-hilarious, good-looking (especially with the freckles), and I could be myself around him because he seems to make ppl feel at ease 2. Joe: a very handsome man (the best of the bunch), but too quiet and so he may be uncomfy to be around 3. Brandon: cute in a young-man type of way, but seems forceful and immature 4. Nayte: nice on the eyes, but gives me player-vibes, hence I wouldn't consider him at all.
Chris S, if you are going to go to Michelle and out someone else, make sure it is (a) information that is beneficial for Michelle (b) make sure it is genuine and (c) not for your own personal benefit/agenda. Chris S, take notes from Olu!!!
I honestly knew watching this video would include more Clayton slander but this episode painted him in a really gentle and sweet light. He’s a good man and I like how it feels like the kids gave him another chance at his own.
It’s weird that we’ve seen Clayton so little but I have hopes that he is a solid lead. He seems charismatic and funny, and if production wanted him that bad there has got to be a reason, so hopefully that’s a good thing
Don't you think it was suspicious how they edited out his supposed "fight" with Nayte? The one where he says "you're an actor you've come on a reality tv"
There’s something about Brandon and though he looks real young but I really feel like they have the best friendship/chemistry/passion, and Iam so scared he’s gonna have his heart broken.
Martin used to be amusing, last week was odd, this week was shameful. Gross that he purely wants a woman... a girl who he can treat however he wants and who heeds his beck and call. That montage was a perfect example of showing that he is the one with a communication issue.
13:24 was just wrong, Fantake!!! 😂 Also, thank you! For introducing what Larping is last week (sent me down a rabbit hole) but came in handy watching Hawkeye on Disney+! You’re a gem!
Just gonna say, youre really really really good at what you do. I look forward to your videos. This is the first Bachelorette season ive watched (here & there)where i thought at the final 4, she simply cant go wrong.
I really like this cast of men this season. Aside from Martin, I would have been happy with any of the men from this episode being a final pick. But ultimately, hubby and I are rooting for underdog Rodney.
