True. This was so hardcore and unexpected from what they previously done at the time. And this whole song and concept really feels like it was made for 4minute so they were compared and trashed by fans bitter from 4m disbandment. They should have transitioned gradually. This would definitely give them a win now.

I feel that. Much as I love 4 Minute (and they are my fave, period, full stop, end of story. They cemented me on my Kpop Journey after my Gangnam intro)) Hyuna is so over rated. The only time she really does good work is when she is with other ppl. It brings out her best. I can't stand all but 2 of her solo songs. Jiyoon, Sohyun, Gayoon, Jihyun, Hyuna. That is my ranking. Here, I'm all about Yujin and Elkie. Sorn also ranks up there. The rest of them vie for don't know who I like best next. It changes by song. Yujin will always be bias tho.

yes she did very well. I knew yujin could dance very well since she is in charge of dance behind seungyeon, but she surprised me with her attitude and charisma this comeback for sure. she managed to stay cute all while transitioning to fierce at the same time.
I have a theory: Before CLC was born, Cube was basically planning to create 4Minute's hoobae with similar concept to them to set a style for the agency: edgy, badass, and strong. However, in that moment, the more selling style for girl group was innocent, fresh and visual one so agency changed their mind. So, CLC concept style was in between innocent APink and badass 4Minute. After some periods of time, CLC concept was not that booming coz other groups were using similar concept, meanwhile 4Minute disbanded. Cube decided to use 4Minute concept for CLC because badass groups are so rare recently (both 2NE1 and 4Minute disbanded, while Blackpink is a softer and more feminine version of YG gg). This concepy works well on them. Now, Cube has a visual girl group with badass concept. Well it's not a theory really sorn mentioned they were preparing for this badass concept they practiced it a lot before debut. When CLC debuted in 2015 it was a known fact that 4minutes contract was ending the following year (2016). Also 4minute went thru the cute concept at first then to badass, just like what CLC is going thru now. What is exciting was CLC's busking (street acoustic) performances predebut meaning they could possibly do a band concept as well since several members are already good with musical instruments!

I hope that CLC doesn't end up like 4Minute- Rises up on billboardd but is very underrated at Korea. They are earning international fans so I can assure that they wouldn't end up like 9Muses- Great music but only has little recognition. Don't get me wrong, I love these 3 girl groups.

FOR NEW FANS clc is one of the few openly feminist groups. clc has: choreographer line, actress line, youtuber line, ot7 can sing amazingly, model line, members can play instruments and speak some languages, members can draw, if not ot7 6 of 7 members can rap, songwriter line, soon composer line( elkie has selfcomposed/selfproduced her 2018 solo song I dream and self written too)(sorn and seunghee this year have assisted to a producer camp , elkie took some classes too this year. Sorn and seunghee assisted the camp (inside cube i guess) with pentagon's member: Kino.

I feel so bad for the poor girl who had to continue pulling her skin tight black dress down her thighs constantly through the dance routine. The costume department did her SO dirty. They did not even give her some double sided tape to keep the dress glued to her thighs. Her look is so GOOD. But some tape would have helped her get thought this with her dignity intact.
cube house producers were the ones who made the song fyi. hyuna just wrote lyrics. it's also the same producers who did 4minute's "crazy" and hyuna's "red" and "roll deep" so that's probably why the song has a hyuna/4minute vibe. hyuna also helped with choreo and style and lots of other things. so she had a overall large influence on the comeback, but did not produce the song. she helped WRITE the song.
Aside from the song and they choreography, the styling and makeup is insane. There's so much variety and their visuals were able to pull it off. Queens indeed~

I know many kpop fans say their favorite group is underrated but I genuinely think theyre underrated. If youve hear them live or heard their busking times you can see they were already good before. It's just that thwir concepts never really suited them until this song. I think this was sort of their real debut song, waiting for the number 1 soon.
