when you say sodium dodecylbenzene sulfanoate, don't you mean sulfonate. Also don't you have to add the para- prefix or a 4 to the name so it reads like: Sodium p-dodecylbenzene sulfonate. Thanks for the video though, it really helped.
Hey, great presentation. Thanks! So ... that alkylbenzene that's treated with H2SO4 at 2:49: Is that something like motor oil? If I treated motor oil with H2SO4 ... will I get something like soap?
