I'm the same way. If my kitchen is messy the house feels messy. Only we live in the middle of nowhere off a dirt and gravel road (no pavement at all near our house) so I am sweeping the kitchen floor every day especially in fall and winter due to all the stuff we (and our dog) track in on our feet. And we have no dishwasher so I have to keep up with hand washing the dishes. I try and never let them pile up in the sink. Yuck. The good thing is there is just the 3 of us including our dog, who is just the sweetest thing ever and sleeps on my bed every night.
1My stove would be so much better if I didn't have to use it! LOL! Thanks for the tip of bar keepers friend. I have it but never used it on my cooktop. I just organized my freezers. That was a nightmare too! I just restocked my freezers and they were a mess. So much better now. I even made a "meal plan"! I hope you have a good day!
I saw kiwis and bananas right beside each other. Maybe you want to rearrange, put the the kiwis in the fridge. Otherwise both of them rotten faster. I am excited for the deep clean video.
We have had a white stovetop for years and it just cracked! I’m thinking of getting a black one. Does the razor leave scratch marks on the blacktop? Also that vacuum attachment you were using looks effective, can you share what kind it is?
I haven’t had scratch marks on mine, but you will want to be cautious. The vacuum attachment just came with my vacuum! I can’t find my exact vacuum, but I found the attachment here: amzn.to/4c8lfsT. It is pricey…I also found this that would work: amzn.to/48EORed I hope that helps!
I've never cleaned the whole kitchen at once... just the thought of it is overwhelming but you make it seem doable. Did it really just take half an hour? I can spend 15 minutes on the sinks alone! I do the dishes/counters/stovetop daily plus try to do 1 extra task so it basically all gets done weekly in manageable bits.
I often break it up throughout the week too, but I also like to have it all clean at once. It took longer than 30 mins, but only because of filming. But I do believe it would have been pretty close to just 30 mins. I could have skipped the oven door for it to be less. I would say the thing that takes the longest are the dishes and the stovetop, especially if I am scraping it down. I also sometimes use a spray mop to make it even quicker.
