Alright, I don't know about anybody else, but I'm 37, and I really wish that 10 years ago someone would have told me that little fact you mentioned that when company comes they bring a bunch of crap and leave it all over your house. That is the absolute best tip of the whole video!!!!! And combatting it by removing even more clutter from common spaces, simple but genius. There was a particularly frustrating visit with some guests who brought every single convenience of home with them, down to their own small tv. My house was a complete pig-sty for like a week, I went insane. Perhaps clearing out the closet in the guest room would have afforded them room for all of the extras. Anyway, thanks for saying that out loud, even though most people might just know stuff like that already, I feel like I have to be told these kinds of things!

I LOVE those tassels on your 'clutter basket' under the table. It reminds me of the saying, "If you can't HIDE it, FLAUNT it!" Adorable, truly! Yup, Everybody's doing the quick-clean-2-step about now. You reminded me of all my old stash habits before. Somehow I'm reformed? Have a great time with your visitors!

Watching this instead of finishing my own video. Procrastination at its finest... Also fun fact: my mom freaks out before guests arrive. Her solution: don't invite anyone. Just doesn't work as intended because her friends usually invite themselves 😂

This was helpful! I put out extra TP, cleared off coat hooks, and put a small empty bin on the sink where my guest can put their toiletries while they're here if they like. I also can't believe I didn't think of getting a towel ready for them before this video. It's been awhile since I last hosted an overnight guest, heh. Anyway, thanks

i have a tiny apartment kitchen so when i have guests over for dinner i usually put my microwave, toaster, and coffee maker away so i have enough counter space.

I love the idea of Public Goods, as it's an awesome idea, but a lot of the stuff they have is made with coconut... I'm allergic to coconut! This makes me very sad!
