I bought this car because I had never seen on before and since. It has an Ecklers custom tilt front end. Most hate it, i love it because it isn't one of the run of the mill corvettes around. Do you like these types of cars? Will it Clean up?

After all the mold is washed off, that car should be stored indoors. Stored deep, deep inside a sealed vault where it will never again be seen. I'm not a fan of the outrageous customization inflicted on innocent Corvettes in the 70s and 80s.

As a Corvette lover myself I always hate seeing what some people did to these cars in the seventies. Thankfully my '69 did not have any such mod's and it is my favorite car I have ever owned.

Wow I remember seeing those flip front hood Corvettes and wide body rear fenders with the wide turbine wheels. I did a custom headlight and turn signal in a custom grill of a 71 he didn’t want the flip up lights no more. Great video can’t wait to see what you do with it.

Even if faded there's a lot of satisfaction having a car basically all one color to me. Did they have some interesting intake and carb on it that maybe they sold? Weird to just leave the car sitting without it otherwise.

Have you seen the Baldwin Motion Phase III GT? One of the rarest one-off C3s. These were shutdown by the feds for being not quite emissions legal. Had some pretty unique front end body work. It's believed no more than ten of these still exist.

They did some pretty horrendous things to C3 Vettes back in the 80's. I bet all that extra fiberglass and added on flairs and filler added an extra 2-3 hundred pounds. the strangest add on was the kit to turn your C3 into a kind of a station wagon but then everyone wanted to make their car unique and stand out.

Whether you like it or not, it's part of corvette history...those street freaks of the 80's early 90's were a big deal. Few cars were as customized as corvettes. I personally like it but it needs a custom paint job to complete the vision

My C3 engine is leaking oil from a few different places. My mechanic replaced some seals but that has not been able to stop the leaks. He recommends putting a new engine in because apparently if we try to rebuild the engine, it wont fit back together properly. I also have a transmission oil leak and a differential oil leak. Should i just go to a bigger, better engine and replace those 3 components of the drive train, rather than try to rebuild them? My car is not factory original. thank you

I'm getting sick of these wide bodies on everything. To many people wide body kits being put on cars now days. It's getting over done and they are ugly now.
