What if you were to pre-soak the tub, scrub it by hand, soft rinse with a normal hose and then use the power washer? That way you could avoid getting sprayed with blood and little chunks of fur! Love your videos!

for trucks, have you ever considered jacking the front end up ever so slightly, to get a better angle for the water to run off when spraying the box? or to drive the truck up onto ramps? it wouldnt reduce the back spray too much but it would help to make sure the water doesnt pool in the ridges of the box liner

I don't know, call me crazy, but I can't understand how people can be so dirty in their lives. I understand the mud outside, I understand that he lives on a farm, I understand the dirt on the carpet, but I can't understand the old cans, the liquids thrown all over the inside, the potatoes and food thrown away, papers, things thrown randomly... . I can't understand why instead of putting the empty can in a bag or the leftover potatoes, they throw them everywhere in the vehicle... and the stains on the seats, do they pee and shit on them? I can't find any justification. By the way, tremendous work. Congratulations!

Dude I'm with you on those carpeted fenders. As a fellow detailer I've cleaned many of those and they are not easy to clean. I always hated trying to get them clean because it took so long to get all the dirt and grime out of them. Definitely a fan of the plastic ones for sure. But awesome job on this one.

EEEyoo! Wouldn't high pressure spray with you outside the bed protect you from back splash better than than standing in the truck bed? Couldn't you get the same angle of attack?

To help with spraying out the box put the front on some stands of some sort to angle the back so it drains out some on its own. Would help. Also, thanks for the answer on the bugs as I just asked that question recently.

Use your shop vacuum on Ute trays to pick up the chunks of debris. Then your carpet extractor with some APC and a crevice tool for the rest. You'll never get it over your face again.

Good morning Mitch, the bed of the Silverado was sure worse that I thought it would be. The spraying out the blood and fur was excellent. I can understand why the bug remover was needed. That worked great. The interior was pretty bad, the area under the drivers side beneath the mat was rough. Lots of small stones and debris. I can see why this was 12 hours of work. The cup insert turned out great. Love the Yard Geek videos and am excited that you have so much new videos coming there for us. Thanks for all you do, have a great weekend. 💜

I always wonder why you clean the outside of the car in the reasonable sequence, but not the floor mats or the interior. Imo, reasonable is: first using water only, then letting few washing agent concentrate on the remaining low amount of dirt. At the moment, at the carpets and the floor mats, the washing agent is wasting its washing power on the first topmost layer of dirt, and the main cleaning is done afterwards by water only. Leaving the carpets and the floor mats basically at the same cleaning level as if you had used, all the way, water only. The reasonable sequence is based on the "Countercurrent Exchange" strategy. They use that strategy at our local cantina to clean the dishes with a minimum of water and washing agent. Oh, btw, beside reducing the amount of needed water and washing agent (which is good for the environment), the result also is cleaner.

Hey Detail Geek just a small suggestion, why not doing a 2 or 3 Part Video out of every ride u are ressurecting ? part 1 Outside Clean and a small glimpse of the inside including. part 2 A quick glimpse of Outside bevor and after then Inside clean maybe Part 3 Owners reaction after quickly showing the stuff u made from outside to inside. this does for u that guys like me would choose the Part 2 and watch it all through cause i´m more interested in the magic u do inside and would then watch the owners reaction full

They're legal as long as you have the proper license for them

Guns are not illegal in Canada but they are strictly regulated. Not only do you need a license for them but there are strict rules about transporting them and storing them. Carrying a rifle or a handgun in public will get you arrested very quickly.

For the bed with this stuff use a hose to soften and gently rinse out the excess, then pressure wash. Of course, I'm telling an expert how to do his job!
