It always amazes me to see something be cleaned with the pressure washer, and it looks great! And then you use a spray and still manage to get MORE dirt out of it!!! Especially the tires

Actually, several people comment on these videos that we'd be interested in seeing how much difference he could make to a car that already looks 'clean' at first glance. It would probably only take 1-2 of those kinds of videos, to be an example; but many people think, 'well, my car is pretty neat already, so why should I get it detailed?' I think people would be surprised how much of a difference it would still make!

The "too dirty to clean" question might just come down to a challenge-issue. A guy like Mitch will look at these situations as challenges and the bigger they are, usually more motivation they provide.

I've always been a Pontiac fan, but not really of this generation of Grand Am, but by golly, what a job you did! I always appreciate when you explain your reasoning for using one tool or instrument over another. There''s a carpet cleaning channel i watch (a very ASMR-like effect in the middle of the night, I can tell you!) where the fellow never explains his variance from a predictable order of steps or why sometimes it looks like one tool attachment is different from how it usually looks. I also have to say that I've come to love the predictable dumping of the muck bucket from the extractor with the exclamation, "GROSS!"

I’m a detailer at a detailing shop and this happens often. Customers try to claim the chemical we use are away at something even though everything we use is safe. To protect ourselves we take before pictures and pictures of all the damage that was already on the car when we got it.

Hi, thanks for the carpet extractor recommendation. I got it for my spring cleaning and it is awesome! One question for you. It is normal that the slightly unpleasant humidity stays in the car for few days after carpet wash? Do you have any recommendation how to deal with it other than leaving can outside with open windows for few days? How you do it in the winter? Or you just say to the customer that humidity will go away in few days?

I would love to see a carpet quality gauge for every car. Give it a score out of 100 or something. Doesn’t have to be a verbal description. Could just be an on screen prompt during vacuuming.

What a great outcome for this otherwise downtrodden Pontiac. I had a 2002 Grand Prix GTP many years ago and I do remember the carpets being pretty easy to clean. Terrific job as always sir!

Question - What about head liners Mitch? I know on some of your jobs it had to make it all the way to the top. At minimum water stains from leaky sun roofs.

Love the channel! I bought the Bissell last year per your recommendation and I love it! I use it all the time and it's great in case of puppy accidents. I spilled come beef fat from tacos on the cloth seats in my wife's car. It's not coming out with the Bissell alone. Which of your products (and at what dilution) should I use to get it out?

Hey Mitch, thanks for using my question in this video. I knew you would say you are up for a challenge. That shows how serious your efforts are. My youngest nephew had this exact car in white with blue interior. His car had crank windows and no air conditioning and NO air bag. He took it to High School most days and loved that car. These are all satisfying to watch, but it keeps me wondering. How on earth some people could bear driving a car that has food stains, fallen food, and so much other stuff they bought and just threw in their car after they finished using or consuming the product. Idk, I'm just intrigued.

I just got a used pontiac that is filthy inside🤣😭 Im here to find out how to clean in. It looks a lot like this one... just wish i knew how to remove the seats😅 Finding candy, fries, floss, a pill and cigarette, and so much random crap💀

I feel like the only kind of car you would turn down is something that was all rusted out because it had been sitting for decades; of course, I'm not sure why anyone would be trying to get that cleaned because it's kind of a lost cause at that point, but should someone ever do that (likely just to be funny SuperVinlin) I don't think you'd be too favorable towards it :p

Thumbs up Mitch! So hard to believe a 2004 is 18 YEARS OLD!?!?!? What the hell! Lol! I'm dying for the weather to get a bit warmer so I can hit the interior of my wife's Sedona. Although I put rubber mats, salt still got its way around the edges of the factory mats and carpet.... urg. Plus with the kids in the back over the winter, my shop vac is gonna get a work out. Lol. Like you, I strive for perfection in my clean up's. 😉

Me: my phone is ringing. Hey Mitch perfect timing. Mitch: Hey Will I’m sending Kyle Larson and Alexa Bliss to come get you. Me: sounds good. After Alexa Bliss and Kyle Larson arrived. Me: morning guys Kyle Larson: hey Will Alexa Bliss: let’s go to Mitch’s I heard he has a tough detail today. Mitch: morning guys. You ready for this? Me: I’ll do my best to help out. Mike and Stone Cold Steve Austin enter in the garage Mike: hey Will Stone Cold: morning guys. Me: morning Mike and Stone Cold what’s cookin? Mike: not much man. Mitch: ok guys let’s get this car looking great. Mitch Kyle and Alexa got the car pre rinsed and soaped down then Mike and Stone Cold dried the car so we moved on to the interior. Me: wow the exterior looks better I’ll do the vacuuming honors. Mitch: ok Will go for it. I vacuumed thoroughly and then Mitch extracted the carpets tons of nasty smells and stains were pulled up. Me: wow the car looks better. Mitch: yeah but the smell though gross 🤮 After Mitch and Kyle got the interior trim cleaned up all was left was to clay the car and then get the glass cleaned then wax the car and put on tire shine on the tires. We finished up and we were beat. Me: wow that looks awesome. The owner arrives happy and was amazed. She left with a big grin on her face. Mike: let’s party guys. Stone Cold: I’m in Alexa Bliss: I’m in. Kyle Larson: I’ll do burnouts Me: Yung money doing his thing 😂 Mitch: enjoy the outro everyone hoped you all enjoyed I’ll see you all in the next one. I used to work for a detail shop that is extremely popular in my state (everyone brings their collector and show cars to my boss every late spring/early summer because he's been doing it for over 30 years now) and the only vehicles we ever turned down were literal homicide crime scenes; he has a long term deal with the state motor pool and usually it's just commerce department fusions and escapes, or utility SUVs etc, but there was one time where they one morning just dropped off a truck that smelled like death before I even opened the door, and what did I find inside? Oh yeah, it literally had old moldy blood and VISIBLE maggots all through the back seat and on the floor (just vinyl no carpet but still...) I just remember seeing it, stepping back, calling my boss over, and he sees it, immediately calls the state motor pool and tells them to get their fucking truck off his lot, we aren't a biohazard cleanup crew LMAO, and considering we've done tons of vehicles as bad as your worst, the fact that he wouldn't even consider it should tell you how bad it was. There was one other time where DHS wanted him to clean a few CBP/ICE trucks but it was almost just as bad in the back detainment 'cell' which takes up half of the back row. They were completely full of old dried puke, sweat, blood, and who knows what else. We ended up doing the entire rest of the truck like SPOTLESS, and then just left the dirty passenger rear quadrant untouched lmao... I don't miss that job at all.
