HI there. Just came across your videos. Truly remarkable job you do. Wish you were near where I live. If I may ask....in American dollars, what do you charge for a deep clean such as this? Thanks again.
We rescued our West Highland Terrier we have now and he's my second Westie. They're just hilarious little stubborn terriers and we love them. Great detail, thanks for the video!
My favorite cleaner to use in the car is Simple Green. It’s natural, gentle and smells and cleans great. It dries quickly and with no streaks or residue. Works better on vinyl than McGuires! Thanks for the videos; I appreciate the time and effort!
@Christopher Joseph - Yeah, exactly. I simply don´t understand how people can live with a car as filthy as that. How does their own home look? Just as filthy and dirty as the Beetle?
Like he said some cars are just for jobs or taking the dogs for a walk!, i mean my family have merc m55 amg that just sits around till its next job or i use it on the farm and thats it, we have other cars for daily, maybe the previous owner did as well (sorry for the spelling and grammar mistakes, i am dyslexic and 14 so not top noch)
My dog, Eli, was adopted. He’s my first mutt. Had purebreds before, but he has honestly been a smarter, more affectionate dog. Plus, he rides very well in my sidecar and my beetle convertible.
I had a heart bypass in 2010 wanted to have something to encourage me to get out to aid my recovery so we said we would get a dog. We went around lots of rescue homes with open minds until this black and white collie saw us and just jumped up and let out a yell sat down and just looked at us with a smile. He has been with us since. Nine years later he is still with us he is about 15 now he has got diabetes now for the last 2 years but both him and me are going strong. Love him to bits and he gives us so much in return.
You are the professional. However, wouldn't it be easier on your back if you had a sturdy work bench to put the seats on when you are cleaning them. It could be mobile with locking wheels...
Hi I love your videos! I have a suggestion. when cleaning cars, especially with mold, you should be wearing a mask with an N95 rating. Mold is very toxic and builds up in your body system causing many health problems. Only downside is it can be hard to breathe in, but you will stay safe from toxins and airborne irritants. Stay safe!
I’m sure the customer’s daughter will love it! It cleaned up very nicely and when her dad adds those few missing pieces, it’s really gonna look amazing. My family and I adopted a shorkie. (Shih tzu and Yorkshire mix) A lady was just selling him one day next to Walmart, of all places, and my mom and dad stopped to look at them. They didn’t buy him. They instead came home and told me and my little teenage heart flipped upside down, so we frantically went on the search to find a “shorkie”. We really didn’t mean to stumble across HIM and the seller online, but we did and I was ecstatic. We met the lady in a city over and chose between our little guy and his brother. I got to choose so I chose the smaller of the two....& that’s how we have our 7 year old little ball of spoilt evil we like to call Toby! 😂🐶
I have a six month old Tibetan Terrier. I researched the breed quite thoroughly and she's the perfect dog for us - friendly, intelligent and not too big. TTs have a lovely long coat and they don't shed (so no dog hair in the car!!). Like yours, our one is always chewing something; luckily the worst damage so far is the back of the remote control for the TV. I say damage but it's just disappeared - we'll probably find it in the garden in ten years time!
I think I'm going to purchase a couple those brushes for my hubby for both of our cars, he uses my hand towels on the tires or inside the the car...grrr! Lol.. I told him to leave my nice hand towels alone! Lol...He usually uses the drive-thru Car wash but he likes to do his own car detail inside our cars, I'll have to give him some kind of car towels that won't leave scratch marks on the paint, they are both new cars.. I actually love cleaning my car, inside and out. It feels satisfying to see the good work I've done 😁
Kuvaszok, Great Pyrenees, Bernese Mountain Dog, Beagle And Newfoundland Landseers here. I’ve loved them all and each has its own wonderful traits. Hard to pick a favorite. Just came home from three weeks in your country. I will say the car culture there is much different than here in the states. Complete different mindset. Not bad, just different. Love the videos and vote for a video solely on the products you use.
Over the years we have had Beagles, German Shepard's, Miniature Poodles and Doberman's and of all them were great dogs in their own. I however was blown away by the Doberman and Poodle they were like scary smart! Especially the Doberman! He would watch you do something then go try it himself. By the time he passed away:( he could open the doors and let himself outside, pick up trash and deposit it in the bin and move furniture to retrieve his toy! I'm just bummed there we never thought to make a video of him....🇬🇷😀☮️
Wow!!! Our last dog was a 9 week old chocolate Lab. She was going to the shelter because she was the runt. My husband brought her home for Free and she quickly became my best furry friend she lived happily for 17 years!
The cleaning! So cool to watch! But I'd worry about the music on your videos getting content matched. If it does, they'll take any monetisation from your videos. I'd recommend music from the RU-vid audio library.
I don’t have a dog, I’ve got 4 cats... because they just show up at the house and my wife lets them in 🤣🤣. These strays wound up being the best cats. Keep up the good work!
G’day and greetings from Tasmania Australia I’ve been watching you for awhile cleaning really disgusting cars both inside and out and I really love your technique in bringing back these cars to a really nice vehicle, you do wonder what people’s homes are like when you see the state of these vehicles you valet. I’m always cleaning our cars so it’s always nice to get ideas from professionals like yourself, I have subscribed and I look forward to you filming and saving these cars. My dog is a 2-1/2 yr German Shepard named Sasha this is my second Shepard. Sasha is a full pedigree and comes from a very good kennel and she wasn’t cheap, the reason I love them is they are loyal and very intelligent and she’s beautiful. I have a 2018 Mazda 6 Atenza Estate and I have had a purpose made cover which is tough canvas for her and a barrier so she can’t get on the leather seats but I clean it out every week I have a pressure washer, steamer and wet and dry vac and foam gun ect, ect. Your channel is the best one that I have seen there’s no bull shit and at my age of 62 you get to know anyway kind regards John🇦🇺🍺🍺👍👍
I have a maltipoo called lulu I wanted a poodle mix for no malting but shes my best friend ❤ thank you for these videos I dont drive but I have bad depression and anxiety and they are very relaxing
A year to the day after my 16yo mixed breed dog passed away I found a puppy on my front step. Another small mixed breed. He grew up to look extremely simular to my dog that passed away. I named him monkey. He's the best little guy ever and loves riding in VWs.
I truly enjoy your videos... you do very nice work, and I love to hear you say "filthy" (which was very appropriate for this car!) I would bring my cars to you for clean up, but I live in Alabama in the USA... and I never let them get nearly this dirty! Keep up the good work, and keep on posting!
Just found your vids today, backlogging thorugh them. Since you asked: 1: Recently tried Valma interior cleaning (foam). Worked amazing on my E39 750 interior, especially the leather! makes it ready for number 2 2: Best leather conditioner products in my book: Meguiars Mirror Bright Leather Lotion (only Meguirs product i use). Failing that, beeswax for horse saddles, works miracles on ancient leather if you don't mind the shine. Minor tip: Put sandwich bags around the connectors of the seats, the contacts can oxidise from the steamer or the spray from the pressure wash. And as you might be aware, VW's and seat airbag connectors are extremely prone to errors. Other than that, keep at it!
Top tip for the camera: Once you get the focus set for the timelapse shot, switch the focus from automatic to manual (a little switch on the lens itself) and that'll lock the focus for the shot so it won't keep trying to adjust
Our dog, Bella, is a Boxer cross, getting on for 12 - 13 years old now. She is a rescue dog who nobody wanted because she had behavioural issues. It took about 4 years and two bloody hands (her biting me!) before we finally got her controllable and well behaved (most of the time - she still has a rebellious streak). She has turned into a lovely if slightly aloof dog. Regarding cleaning products - have you tried Astonish Oven and Cookware Cleaner? It is probably too abrasive for use in a car, but there is very little this stuff won't shift! Love the videos and I admire your work ethic. I live nearby, over Wyre, and if I ever need a car valeting, I will be in touch. God bless.
Nice work! I've got an English Bulldog and a mini golden doodle. Always wanted bulldogs since I was a kid, because who can't get enough laughter watching them be their stubborn selves? The mini golden doodle is my wife's dog. She's sweet, but sensitive. If you get upset with her, she runs to the master bedroom, jumps on the wife's side of the bed and pisses/craps on it. SMH
To answer your question at ~16:40, I love clarity 2.0, gecko and fusion by ezcarcare and also Meguiar's all purpose cleaner. Clarity 2.0 is an interior/ exterior glass cleaner, gecko is a glass cleaner with hydrophobic properties (water falls off the glass) and fusion is hydrophobic treatment for the exterior bodywork. Seriously good stuff, especially for visibility.
I dust and hoover my car once a week or sometimes every 2 weeks. It literally takes between 5 and 10 mins and its mint. There's no excuse for this level of dirt! 🤢🤮
honest review so true. Me, I tend to do a fairly decent attempt at cleaning before any overnight trips, but that’s only a couple times a year. On the other hand, what I do regularly year round is have the car washed, even in winter. Even though the car will just get dirty within a day in the winter anyway, it’s important to get that road salt off from time to time. Have never had any serious rust issues with any of my cars through the years.
To answer your question - a Greyhound. When I decided I wanted a dog I researched what would make a suitable pet for my circumstances. I started with a Greyhound, then thought a Staffordshire Terrier might be okay, then a Portuguese Water Dog, then a Labradoodle, then something else before finally winding back to a Greyhound. I applied to the Greyhound Adoption Program of South Australia, waited about ten months before finally getting the call that had one that might be suitable. He was and it is six years later and he is laying next to me as I type this.
A product I have fell in love with is Super Clean Degreaser because it’s powerful, but so versatile. Over rated is most Chemical Guys stuff. They have great products like VRP, their Microfiber wash, and upholstery cleaner is decent. I’m coming to the conclusion that as a whole Meguiar’s Detailer line is the way to go for pros.
Great video! To answer you wee question: My dad used to hunt, so we've had many dogs (*deep breath*): German Shorthaired Pointer, Drever (a Swedish race), English Setter, Pointer, Schillerstövare/Schiller Hound, a Beagle (not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but very sweet), a Lucerner Hound and last but not least a German Spaniel. :D
The before and after from just vacuuming... 😳😳 We have a miniature long-haired dachshund that we got from a breeder and a black lab that we adopted from a vet office near our home.
Few things about camera techniques, shoot in the light as much as possible that will give your camera the best quality in terms of noise when looking at footage, and also when you do slow motion footage turn your setting up to 60 frames per second that way when you slow it down at half speed it won’t have that choppy look to it. I love your videos and look forward to seeing more!
Congratulations dear, your work is very good, I accompany your videos and your channel here from Brazil and I like it a lot I'll already be a fan I watch all the videos without missing any part, I really like your cleaning work on the cars and the contents of the channel, congratulations you do an incredible job keep it up.!! 👋🤝
I have a dachshund. I never planned on getting a dog, but she needed to be rehomed and I didn't want her to be put somewhere bad. I knew I could provide, so I took her.
most impressive product has to be meguiars endurance tyre gel makes tyres look new without looking to glossy plus it works on any trim and plastics!! we have two border collie/kelpie crosses dont go in the car much luckily fantastic dogs as long as you like walking in any weather!!!! anothe fantastic job thank you
We’ve got Chuffy- chow/Newfoundland mix, my husband got one years ago at the animal shelter that was going to put him down. Turned out best dog & my favorite kid. So this one is a female, wouldn’t own any other breed. They’re smart easy to train loves every family member totally LOVES kids. -we’ve got a granddaughter with autism & they are 2 peas in a pod!!! Where one is so is the other, they’d give their life to protect their family.
This is exactly why I ask these questions, because I want to hear stories like this. My other half really wants a Newfoundland. Thank you for taking the time out to share this and I wish you and your family lots of health and happiness :)
Autoshine Cars.. brilliant. ive mine to do but scared of making a bollix of it. my brain won't compute how sanding plastic makes it go clear 👍🙄🙄 great video as per usual. ive a bonkers border collie. rescue dog .
I have a Yorkshire Terrier, I didn’t choose the breed, my ex did. We went to the breeder and I picked him out. He stole my heart immediately, he just wanted to eat my fingers off. Little razor pup teeth. Should have known that 13 years later I still can’t put my hands near his face before he starts play biting. Of course he only 6 teeth left, common problems with small dogs. I love lots of breeds. I had a golden retriever for 15 years, and my dad was a K9 handler for the local police. I grew up around German Shepherds. Great dogs, as long as you’re family. If they are trained for police work it doesn’t help to be a stranger to them. Like humans, unless there is an underlying mental issue, they are all good if raised right.
One product I tried recently was a wheel cleaner here in NZ called Play Dead Purple Haze - really good iron remover, super satisfying! CRC sells the same product here under the name Mag Monster - not sure about other markets but highly recommend it if you can get it
Hi...I live in Atlanta, Georgia USA and I am not associated with car detailing or cars in any way other than driving them. I love to watch your videos, I don't know why, but I do. Keep them coming! Great job.
Maybe they conciously had a thick layer of dirt on the car to protect the finishes..... like the bottom notification. Thought at first there was a news announcement.at first. Cool way to give out info without blocking your work!
Hi gary great work again was on website must say your work good value and hope in near future let u at the taxi get a refresh to looking like new must admit close ma eyes when pressure washing engine bay lol dog we have is a beagle like u spends it's time nose to the ground going thru the dirt keep up the good work
Would you believe 20% Superclean from Walmart (or wherever there)? We used it on an old 7-pass Pacifica, and it's just smokin'...Even cleans engines no-problem. We put 4/5 water and 1/5th Superclean and have never been disappointed! Gum, candy, milkshakes, you-name-it comes right up!
It's a shame cause it is an iconic car and the owner has no idea of cars. It is not the dogs, not all dog owners have cars like that! Amazing the before and after comparisson, great work! I would have quarantined this car to be honest
Excellent result as always! My new go-to product is Auto Glym Magma. That stuff took all the fallout off my car! But if there's someone that can recommend a cheaper version I'd be greatly appreciated!
Love the video, like usual 😁 Could you make a video with a presentation of all your poducts and tools that you use? I know you always put the product that you are using in the video but seeing everything at once would be nice. Cheers from Belgium 😉
2 Chihuahuas they were rescued from 2 high kill shelters in California, they have it made, they sleep all day and only show up for food and to pee and poop, as they say it's a dog's life!!!
hate to ask this, but what steam cleaner do you have? i know you said in another video but i can't remember which one. btw, i love watching those super nasty ones and want to thank you for being willing to do them on top of your regular business.
Only 6 'to be honest with you' this week. Now taking guesses on next weeks video. :D By the way, I have a Golden Retriever. The teenagers of dogs. Eats everything, humps everything else, and lies around all day, sleeping.
I bought what I thought was a corgi puppy, but he kept growing and growing, could jump flat footed into my 6' arms, so I had him DNA tested and he came back half corgi half australian shepherd. He is the most incredible amazing dog I've ever had. I want another mix like him.
My wife and I have 3 Boxers. I dont remember why we got boxers we got our first one 25 years ago and just fell in love with the breed we have had 6 all together we lost one at 5 years old to cancer and another one at 3 years old to epilepsy.
Ok so, I just subscribed earlier this evening. I love these videos. I am so glad I found your channel because it made me realize what a crappy detail job I was doing on our vehicles LOL. I mean I have always broken out the old toothbrush, and qtips to help clean the interior, but there was SO much I was missing. I love watching these kinds of videos; they are strangely relaxing. I have a question though. How long does it take you to do a typical detail with everything you do?
Aaaaaaaaaaaaggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Death by silly con spray. NO way to treat a beetle...i mean the bugger who got her all mocket. Hi Gary, Amy, Moose. Another one bites the magic eraser. Super job Gary. I think this one's had a hard life. I'm sure the new lassie will cherish it forever. His name was Tim, family pet, border collie, plumb crazy. I'd be in this giant pram, screamin' ma head off, while my mum walked us through Elder Park in sunny Govan, and Tim would run ahead, turn and come back, and went the other way, stop and come back, prowling this giant ellipse around us. And hell mend you if you came into Tim's ellipse cos that was him protecting us. RIP Tim. I think Moose was eatin' some oose!!!! Stay safe guys and keep up the good work. 👍🐕😎🥛🍪
Gary so love Moose😃. We have a Mal-shi dog. Only one year old and just like Moose eats anything she shouldn’t. She is a rescue dog and we love her to bits. I’m still amazed how you get these filthy cars like new again. Keep them coming 👍👍👍
