My wife wanted to buy a new mop the other day and I shook my head when she reached for the spin mop. "Magic Man says it's garbage," I told her. So we got the twist 'n' push or whatever the hell it's called. Thanks for saving my marriage.
That's why they call him Marriage Savin' Johnny back in Topeka. They're like, "Hey, is that ol' Marriage Savin' Johnny?" "I don't know, man, let's ask our wives if they want spin mops and see what happens."
I went to buy a mop today. Another lady was there looking at mops too. She explained to me how she doesn't like mops, but bought a small one anyway. I listened to her complaints. Then ole butt kickin' Johnny came up on my mind and I remembered him saying he doesn't like spin mops. Then I remembered I don't like mops. That's why I don't have one 😅. I walked away without a mop. I'll be using a tool I bought from QVC years ago. It's kinda like a Swiffer, but the pads are reusable cloth pads. Washing machine cleaned.
I appreciate your channel so much. Not one other cleaner has shared the spin kick method, or bothered to present an alternate backhand slap option for those of us whose spin kicks aren't even slightly brutal. Truly, I don't know what we did to deserve you.
I wanted to share here a celebration that I folded and put away about half of my total clean laundry in my house today, and I cleared off a lot of surfaces in my bedroom!
The path this man chose in helping others while helping himself is what living well and fully is all about! He's a wonderful human being, with a most entertaining sense of humor. Subscribed.
Sadly so do I, I suspect my home (that’s an ocean away) would be a candidate for this kind of cleaning. I need to train my brain that work breaks are 50 minutes and coffee breaks are 10 minutes.
I use to spend thousands of dollars on junk, junk, junk, home interior, DVDs, CDs, Avon lol I spent $200 a week on just Avon, anything and everything. I finally stopped, I want everything clean " I've always been very clean "i still clean everyday, I just hate junk now. I suffer severe O.C.D. and GAD, I probably have " never been diagnosed " with several other mental issue's, I was also diagnosed with PTSD, domestic violence and living through 2 terrible major fires, lost everything twice, flooding , child abuse, alcoholic mother, beatings normal people can't imagine. I learned I was buying things to supplement my fears, my terrible anxieties, same with my job, I use to work 80 hours plus every week, Nursing burnt me out " 36 year's " I'm doing better though, I'm actually paying attention to what living life really means. I love your videos, you're very calming my friend. Thank you for teaching me many things .
Another great video! Jumping up six feet and spinning to drop kick dirt off stoves and breaks every 50 minutes in order to break dance the neighborhood kids into shame sound like a legit set of skills. I hope Jason is taking notes. Have a great weekend and thanks for helping so many people. ❤
Ive painted the insides of my kitchen cabinets a bright white for the last 40 years. It makes such a difference to be able to look inside a clean cabinet and find what you are looking for.
Ty for this channel. It’s soothing, inspiring to see your vigorous attack at disorganized clutter while cleaning what needs to be cleaned. Lol, “back handed slaps “ skills to clean a dirty stove (ouch). And the secret SPIN KICK…🤣😂🤣Love to see this mean - cleaning machine of a man perform & narrate his specialty. 🫶🏻 from Illinois.
I'm sitting here with my cup of coffee this morning trying to wake up, and you start my day cracking me up. 1 second in, I'm like, what did he say his name was? Rewind, and I'm busting out laughing. It is so refreshing to see a real personality like yours shine through these videos. It's a big part of why I subscribed.
Tip: When steam cleaning the carpet, get the drapes out of your way and off the carpet. Easy peasy, hook drapes in clothes hanger and hook hanger onto curtain rod.this way drapery will not absorb the moisture and become moldy.
These are definitely the best cleaning videos on RU-vid 😂 I admire your explanations on hoarding and non judgmental approach with the homes you clean. I got my husband hooked on watching these too, he loves your humor and now quotes you constantly 😅 I’m hoping his autistic self will want to start cleaning like this too, crossing fingers. We need to learn that spin kick!!
I admire what you do. So many need help and can’t afford it or are embarrassed. You change lives. Many many people just need that “leg up” when it’s overwhelming. Also your humor is awesome 😅
@@TheKimmiek As far as I can tell, I'm 99.99% sure MCM is joking about calling his son filth, and so with my comment I was playing off of that. MCM is hilarious, otherwise there's be no way I would joke about someone referring to someone else as filth.
@@TheKimmiek because he’s his dad and he’s razzing his son because that’s how they express love for each other because they’re guys - lovingly crafted insults 😂
I'm a very recent subscriber catching up on old videos. I absolutely love what you are doing for folks in need, including people like me with ADHD in need of motivation. In addition to saying that, I wanted to add that, for what it's worth, the usefulness of a spin mop is probably a personal and situational matter. I recently purchased an O-Cedar spin mop system for my saltillo tile floors and find it to be the best tool for that job that I've ever had. The surface is relatively uneven and the microfiber mop head conforms to the contours far better than any flat mop I've ever had. The plastic triangle piece is no problem at tall for this floor, and the mop works great on both the tiles and the grout between them. Also, I get and appreciate your dry sense of humor. 🤭
You are possibly the best therapy anyone could ever need. If it weren’t for Jason…well …it would be trademark level. Jokes aside, thank you…was feeling a bit off today but you gave me a reason to smile and work on my spin kick method ❤
It`s so fun to just click the videos as they come and see the difference in your voice overs. It`s so easy to forget that people on social media are just as much people as we are watching. I love yor narrations over the videos, the jokes, the explanations. So lovely to be able and see/hear the difference in presentation.
Oh my goodness, I just found your channel last night. I am not a binge watcher of anything, but your videos are pretty addicting haha! Congratulations on all your subscribers and so happy and proud that a fellow Midwesterner is doing something so kind and compassionate. God bless you!!
I just found this channel and love what he does and his personality is the cherry on the cake. Cleaning is a satisfying activity for me......mowing is, too. Don't you love the neat rows when you mow. My favorite chore...take everything out of the fridge, sterilize it, put the good stuff back in neatly. Least favorite, a tie between dusting or cleaning an oven. Okay, that's all I got. Thanks for listening.
Excellent advice on the carpet cleaning. I really do appreciate your explanation on cleaning for a move out. I always just want to deep clean everything. I'm sure it takes years to know when to stop. Thanks for another amazing video. I needed it this weekend. Suck it.
Ever since I found your channel, I fell in love. Love how you narrated your videos and don’t make them to fast. Can actually see what your doing. Keep up the good work . ❤
You know, whenever he rags on Jason it makes me a bit emotional, because what I hear is “my beloved firstborn son Jason, who I’m so proud of and love so much, it’s a joy to even think about him or say his name.” 🥹
Thanks for all you do and share! I started taking the hourly breaks you suggested when working in my own home and it has made such a difference. You and your spin kicks rock!
I admire your non-judgmental approach. So many people would spend all their time complaining about the mess. The people you're helping are blessed they found you (or you found them).
Recent Asd diagnosis here at 39 years old. Such a relief. Now I know why I'm weird. So much you say, the way you talk, the dry humour, the noise sensitivity really relates to how I am. I have the urge to constantly clean too. I absolutely love your videos and how comfortable you are in your own skin. You remind me of a mixture of Bevas and Butthead and That Hank cartoon guy from that American cartoon that I can't remember the name of. Keep doing your flying spin kicks on those nasty stains and tell Jason to get a life.... that lazy bastard. Warm Regards Aussie Bin Chicken 🐔 P.S The only ad that plays during this video is "Cocaine Bear" ha !
You do such a good job for free and I wish you lived closer to us. We are in NC. We could really use your help. My husband is blind and recovering from a pinky toe amputation and I have M.S. and I’m not able to clean like you do. My adult son lives here but feels so overwhelmed that he just accepts the way it is and he just walks by it never giving a flip if we clean or not. Depression has made a home here and all 3 of us are on depression medication. I didn’t use to live like this. When I was healthy I kept my house cluttered free. Once a year I would go through everything including the kitchen cabinets. I’m not able to get us back to where we used to be. Although if someone could get us caught up I’m positive we could keep it that way because I think this mess is adding to our depression. I’ve enjoyed watching you help other people and just today I thanked the Lord for people like you. I hope to find someone in our area that can do what you do. Thank you for posting your videos and keep on keeping on and giving that dirt and clutter what for. LOL! 😊
Sheila White...I hear the frustration and sadness in your post. Sometimes it seems as if the snowball effect just accelerates. O am holding you and your family in my heart and sending blessings your way. I hope that maybe you and your son can agree to tackle something small each day. I have faith that you will all get through this. Sending love and Aloha from Oahu.❤
Hey!! You mean I’m not the only one that spin kicks dirt off my stove?! Wow! Good to know! 😂 This was a very satisfying clean! Great Job!👏👏👏. Can’t wait for the next episode of kicking dirt’s a$$ and taking names.
I was given a really old but perfectly good sofa and chair. The only thing wrong with them if they were dirty a friend of mine sent her brother over who had a company to steam clean it. When he got through it was absolutely beautiful
I'm going to vacuum that carpet like it owes me money! Hahahaha. While I do enjoy the cleaning aspect of your videos, I think it's the commentary that keeps me coming back. Your snarky sense of humor is hilarious. 👍🏻👍🏻
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Spin Kick, backhand slap omg you freaking kill me!!! I had to add to this because I didn't have a chance to finish the video, the part about Jason just about killed me. That "filthin' filth" is something we say in my family. Not sure I've ever heard anyone else say it. 🤣😂🤣 Also appreciate the break dancing 🕺🏼 the humor just keeps coming! 😄 I like that you keep the cleaning noises too and don't add music. My OCD loves that. ❤️
I really appreciate the tenant move out angle, I need to deploy that soon so the guidance for someone who is naturally messy and disorganised is much appreciated. I may binge play your videos so that I can get the spin kick and backhand slap techniques just right!
Hi , I almost wait for your videos, it´s a little highlight of the weekend . Thanks for your work 👍👍 I worship the lord ❤ may he bless you and your family. Congratulations for the silver button.
You are a kind generous gentleman. I knew someone actually a few people dear to my hear who suffered with issues that contribute to hoarding. God bless you and those you help. 💪🏽🙏💖🐝
I wish i had known about you 14 months ago when i was cleaning out my moms house.... well actually i didn't clean it out. I had to go through 42 years of stuff in a 3 bedroom house that had never been updated cause my dad didn't believe in that. I basically went through and found heirlooms for family members and had to burn paper work. SO MUCH PAPERWORK! almost 50 years of paperwork. If there's one word of advice i would give. Burn or Shred all your old paper work. Before my folks got this place they had moved every 2-4 years and we moved all that paper work crap every time. I found cancelled checks from the 1960s. Never knew what was in those boxes every time we moved. UGH it makes me so angry. We finally found a realtor who does house flipping as a hobby and sold it to her as is with what was left of contents since it was overwhelming and we, my brother and i didit know what to do with it all. I spent 1 week a month going to this house, ( i live in Wisconsin and my folks were in central Illinois, just north of I-80) for 14 months. What a nightmare, i even kept track of everything i did burn and what i donated, which were 40 white trash bags of paper work and several boxes, and 50 black bags of stuff i donated. I am a huge supporter of Swedish Death Cleaning. EVERYONE needs to do that. anyway love your videos, they make me laugh on occasion. Now to get my own home SDC is the next project. Onward...
I appreciate how much it means to the people you help. So much of my stuff is just a burden to me and my health makes it necessary to tackle it in small bursts.
Love your channel Butt Fartnickle, hope I got that right. You did a fantastic job spin kicking and slapping this house into great shape. I look forward to your videos you make me smile and laugh. Also I learn plenty from you. Thanks for sharing.
Another good video, spin kicker! It dawned on me while I was watching, that if this was someone’s first time, watching one of your videos, they might think you quite insane. I watch many of your videos and I know you’re insane, but I like it! ❤️🇨🇦
I love my spin mop. Wanna know why? Because the teenage grandson who lives here adores it so much I haven’t mopped a floor in ages! He loves spinning it.
That... Was Amazing to watch. Thank You Mister Midwester! I love that you just give respect to a space. The outcomes are... Beautiful! I Love Your Work. Shout out to Jason n Daniel!!! 😁😁😁
I'm getting ready to borrow a carpet cleaner gadget from my mom and use it for the first time this weekend, so me and my living room carpet appreciate these tips!
Very helpful video!!!! I have moved and downsized 4 times in the last 14 years due to my daughters being in the Army. Im in the process of getting rid of things i no longer need and your vids and you have helped me tremendously. Again, thank you 🙏 💖
The first person who’s ever given me the satisfaction of watching a cleaning video while also giving me a good chuckle. I’m so excited to show your channel to my husband because he shares the exact same kind of humor as you. I’ve been watching you every night for days now. These videos are my new comfort.
G'day! Really thorough tutorial on how to prepare a property for moving house, especially the explanation of the hoovering and carpet cleaning process.
OMG! You are at 109k already, congrats you deserve it so much! Also I really appreciate your cleaning tips, like the spin kick method on a stove, I’m going to try it later and let you know how it goes.
I love watching your channel. I am 75 years young. I picked up some pointers. I love how efficient you are and dedicated in what you do. I clean my own home and the way I keep up with daily chores I clean one or two rooms a day. Yes, I am fortunate to still have my health. I keep moving so I stay healthy. I will admit my daughter comes weekly to sweep and mop. Till next time Betty. 🙏 Take care Betty
Great advice! I remember watching that epic ninja battle, you mopped the floor with those guys, it was a battle for the ages! Looking forward to the next one!
When I clean & feel like its just not working as I’d like it, then I too spin kick the dirt out,but I use stilettos with sparkles. It works every time…thanks for sharing. Greetings from sunny California. 🤪👍👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
As landlords...I would give anything to have a home left like this. Our last was an eviction, 9 months it took. to get them removed..over 40K to repair damage..and 16 months to do the work. They not only took all the appliances, they took the TOILETS...PS they were paying $700 a month for a 2 bedroom minutes from Siesta Key that now rents for 3400 a month..try to be kind, try to help people out...
I’m only midway through your video, but I paused it to specifically write this comment and like the video because I also feel and it’s a fact really that those sticky mouse traps are super cruel! Thank you for being compassionate
I agree with you about spin mops because the spin mechanism breaks so easily and, as you said, the mop can scratch the floor. Perhaps I’m too heavy handed with them, but I think cleaning tools should be robust enough at least for normal domestic use. Let’s face it, they are not exactly cheap for what they are.
Silly neighborhood kids should know better. "Mess with the best. Die like the rest." You should have made them stand outside the windows and watch how to properly clean. So they have some value to their existence after dealing with the trauma of losing so hardcore to the break dance assassin. Also keep up the awesome videos.
