Great video! I'm new to the hobby, just bought an APEX a couple of weeks ago to replace a rather questionable chinese one that came with my compressor. I've gotta say, it is awesome, vastly superior. Thanks for the video, very helpful for newbs like me.

Awesome stuff, Paul! Since I started using an airbrush last year I have been opening the thing after every single paint job. It has ofcourse worked fine for me, but it is incredibly tedious obviously! Especially your way of cleaning between colour changes will make life so much easier. And hopefully the UMP airbrush cleaner will be kinder to my lungs than the Revell Paint remover I have been using the last year! Cheers, Daan

Great video, Paul. One question, as I noticed that you didn't lube any of the seals as you reassembled the Apex. Do you simply feel that there is no need?

Nice video. I must say though, your routine cleaning technique (between colors) is about exactly what I do, but I find after what looks like a thorough cleaning, I can still blast out a little color on the towel. I repeat the clean, and it still blows a little less color. So I wonder is it me or the brush? I have repeated the process up to 4 or 5 times and still get a little color coming out in the end. Your results were clean as a whistle after one flush. This was a red color (Vallejo) so I am wondering if red is just more difficult. Other than that its the brush (Iwata HPC) or me. Leaning towards me but it sure is frustrating.

What about after using such as Zero paints. I Clean out after every time I spray those, paranoid about leaving it on case it sets, especially 2K clear

don't talk about air burshes I final got my first air brush and wast trying and wondering what it seem to be spraying paint very wet was taking long time to dey on model I looked down and saw I had put in flow aid not thinners lol
