Lash master here, you are actually doing okay with your routine, keep it up. Just a tip, if you are ordering lash shampoo online, check the ingredients as some of them are tricky and still has oils and glycols in it (butylene, propylene, polyethylene) see, oils are the number one enemy of the lash extensions and should be completely avoided. While on the glycols, some lash tech seems fine with it but personally, I'd rather stay away from it as they could affect the retention of lashes. Glycols break down the glue. But anyway, if you have been using the same lash shampoo and everything is okay, then it's cool ✨✨ thank for sharing this 💜💜💜💜
My aunt is a lash tech and she does use audio based shampoo to strip her lashes because it works good on her eyelash extensions and you can also use make up remover cleansing balm
I got lash extensions way back in the beginning thinking they were going to simplify my life. After all the potions and petting and spooling and sleeping without moving my head I went back 2 days later to have them removed. Regular mascara is so much simpler, cheaper and less time consuming. I'm convinced young women have NOTHING going on in their lives except 'self-care' and consumerism.
I did these steps twice a day when I had lash extensions. It does help you get rid of the oil and dirt around lashes. However it is so high maintenance. I love lash extensions but just get so tired of doing these steps everyday
Yes yes!! Always wash your lashes everyday! Twice if you wear makeup. I am a lash technician and I always give my clients a cleanser for their lashes with a brush to clean them 😊
Omg I’ve never been this early LMFAO this vid is so helpful ty I’ll use it… when I get lash extensions 😭 Edit: yall ty for the likesss Edit 2: NAH THATS SO MANY LIKES, IVE NEVER GOTTEN THIS MANY TYSM Edit 3: OMG THIS IS SO MANY LIKE 3.4K!!! I hate to be this person but… MOM IM FAMOUS EDIT 3!: 4K!!! WHATTT THIS COMMENT IS SO OLD LOL STILL GETTIN LIKES 😭💀💖🤗
Another way u could do it is if u have a spoolie to put it on the spoolie and just brush through ur lashes so u get in between and everything just a suggestion☺️☺️☺️
No oil! As a seasoned lash technician, that can easily break the bond of the glue from your artificial lash to your natural lash and could also create premature shedding which in some cases, as I’ve seen on some clients, can lead to bald spots. What you’re doing is just fine. Make sure you fluff EVERY morning and night with a spoolie even if you are not using a cleanser. Hope this helps 🌹
if your trying to make your eyelash hair more or for it to have more volume i definitely recommend castor oil, if your willing to use it make sure to remove your eyelash extensions or it will fall off little by little, love you babes
I wash my eyelashes with baby shampoo. I started doing this very often when I started getting a lot of styes, and now more recently I had a LOT of crusty pieces in my lashes from extra bacteria that affected my eyesight.. So please wash your eyelashes! You don’t have to do it all the time, just weekly at least.
Styes could either be from your tech not sanitizing her tools or it could be your eyelash brush (depending on where you keep it) I keep my lash brush in a zipped plastic bag. Any eye makeup can cause you styes if you're not putting the tools away properly.
@@aprilpinketon2567 oh I don't have lash extensions. I don't know where I got the styes from. Because I also didn't wear eye makeup when I got the styes.
Hey Wendy I saw you ( on a screen kinda thing) at my local mall in my area I wish I had gotten a pic but I was to late! Byee have a nice day/night and I love your videos!!
Lol I literally just wash my face and rinse my face and the soap falls into my lashes naturally and gets washed off then I wait for it to air dry. RU-vidrs are always doing the most
@@aliciax5854 I get your point but I’ve found if you wash your lashes like this every time then you are going to need a touch up earlier. I wash my lashes every other day or every 3 days with the method I said in my original comment, then on the days in dont wash my lashes I simply use a face towel to wash my face with an aha soap and dettol and make sure I get the space around my eyes and my eyelids. That way less lashes fall out and I can keep my lashes clean and not need another touch up for a full 4 weeks. The more you wash them directly like this the easier the lashes fall out and this the earlier appointment you’ll need. I’ve learnt from experience been wearing lashes for over 4 years. And my lash lady is happy. Do what’s best for you hun. The part where I’m saying she’s doing the most is using a blow drier to dry her lashes. She should just let it air dry because your wasting electricity doing that every day when it naturally air-dries in 30 mins.
Omg. I was so confused because im getting my lashes done very soon too. Never done that before so im kind of nervous cause right now i have zero prodcuts to use so i was watching videos and some people were saying that you need to wash your lashes everyday so i checked out other videos but since you’re experienced for four years i trust you and definitely not blow drying it thank you so much! 🤎🫶🏽
@@onikapinkk no worries at all girl. Yes after your appointment do not get water on your lashes for at least 24hrs then you can have your shower as normal wash your face with your go to soap (mine is usually an aha one) or face wash (I use neutragena grapefruit one) then you can get the soap onto your lashes then when you rinse your face the soap will naturally rinse your lashes and you should be good to go. You can wash them every 2-3 days and on the days you don’t you just have your shower as normal but when it comes to washing your face just put soap on your face but don’t get any on your eyes just go around them, then use a face cloth or face towel and put a little bit of dettol on it not too much and get the face towel wet then wipe your face clean and then rinse and get the area around you eyes and your eyelids (as your eyelids can be oily at times) and that’s it! That’s what I do anyway so do whats best for you as I am not a lash tech but this method has saved me money and kept my lashes going for longer cause going every 2 weeks is a bit excessive (and that’s what happens when you wash it everyday they start falling out quicker) seeing as getting your lashes done isn’t exactly cheap. So 4 weeks is my ideal timeline. And yes don’t blowdry cause lashes aren’t like the thick full hair you have on your head that takes a while to dry as they only take 20-30 mins to dry which is nothing really and you’ll save electricity. Blessings
So as long as you're drying make sure to apply a oil ex almondn or avocado oil because the drying process drys them just like regular hair you have to keep it hydrated. Just use a reg spooly to apply the oil
i feel like so many girls have eyelash extensions now that instead of it looking rare or eye catching, it’s just basic and generic cause you can tell when a girl has lash extensions. the lashes just have a certain look where it’s like oh, it’s extensions. cool and also identical to every other girl who has extensions
Don’t use oil on them as that’s what helps dissolve the glue. Also if it’s cluster lashes the best thing is to not put makeup on them, the more u touch them the more they will move and fall out
I hope these go out of fashion soon I hate them sm. These lash techs got people out here with whole bird wings for eyelashes. They are just too big for anyones face, it makes everything look off and out of proportion especially your eyes look smaller it doesn't look right on anyone imo
