Despite the routine cleaning of the CREAMi Deluxe lid after every use, sometimes milk debris accumulates inside the lid which in turns results in bacteria formation. You cannot get enough water pressure within the lid to dislodge the spoiled milk; that is where a water pick type device comes into play.

I got some frozen yogurt up in the hole where the drill goes on the deluxe upon it retracting. How do I get that out? And is it dangerous? Will it get out on my next run when the drill goes down you think? It naturally got up there when it was done with my second re-spin that had made the frozen yogurt really creamy, this making some of it go up with the drill. I did try and get a cloth up there, but the gap is just way too small! I've only had my deluxe for a week as it JUST came to Europe. I see crews, but I tdon't wanna take it apart.

I do not think you have to worry. Though there is a gap between the drill and Creami, it is just a gap. Further back from the gap is where the drill enters the Creami. Wet towel it down would be fine. There is a squeegee action as the drill enters into the unit. You could put plain warm water into one of the containers and select slushi; letting the drill dip into the water and self clean. Anything that happens to get inside the Creami itself would remain inside the Creami and dry up. I called Ninja on this and they said not to worry.

Are you talking about using a water pik? If so, yes it does. When I first got the creami, all i did was clean the lid exterior. Then I noticed crud inside the lid. That is when I decided to take action and find a way to make sure it does not happen again. The water pik did the trick and since then no issues. Did not have to use the water pik again. Just made sure I flushed out in insides after every use.
