Thank you for this video and your insights! I am going through the experience of no longer fitting in clothes that I've fitted for years & it is helpful for me to see someone go through the same thing. This is an aside -- but it's been difficult for me to reconcile purchasing clothes because of all the discourse surrounding consumerism/fast fashion but it's hard when clothes simply don't fit! So thank you
you are literally the big sister to us all. As a fellow Aerie girlie, will NEVER be getting rid of the shirts from their earlier campaign. PS: Keep the green!!!! That dark green on you is *chefs kiss*
I'll be stalking your poshmark for that cream shacket ;-) I vote to keep the blue sweater - all 3 are beautiful colors but the blue is probably the color you have the least of
Its ok to buy items in more than one color if you love them and actually wear them. What you need to do is track what you are actually wearing each season, and one in one out or don't buy more. Turn your hangers backwards each season to see what you are wearing. Yes, you can donate and sell what you don't wear, but, many people use that as an excuse to buy more. Textiles are one of the most landfilled items. Many items at thrift stores don't sell and are sold for textile recycling (downcycled) which is not ideal. So, learn from what you don't wear. Write down trends of what you eliminate or are not wearing. What colors, fits, styles do you tend to buy but not wear. Which ones do you wear on repeat. Count what you have in each category. I have done this and its a shocking number. Keep the numbers in mind when considering adding items. Ask yourself if you really need it. Instead, make a buy list of what is missing based on the numbers or items that you love but aren't wearing because you don't have the right item to wear with it. Make intentional purchases. I think you probably have too many colors in your wardrobe. See which basics and accent colors you wear most often, Stick with 5 +/- colors that you love and look good on you. Good luck!
hi! the sports bras you recommended from amazon a while back have been my favorite but I am looking for something similar in the support and comfort department but those sports bras straps are super close to my neck, wondering if you recommend any other bras that are closer to a 'traditional bra' - i just hate padding and underwire bc I am bigger as well.. thanks!
