Team electric? Certainly am. I have a 2021 VW ID3 Performance Pro [it was a superb deal] and I'm a Tesla shareholder. I always loved ICEVs back in the day [SAAB 900 Turbo 16, for example], but it's BEV time for me from now on. 👍

As someone who has driven EVs for the last 12 YEARS, I have to say they're ideal if you own a home and live near a city. If you live in the middle of nowhere or you are in an apartment, they're less ideal. It disappoints me to see misinformation in these comments about EVs. My car, in the city, gets well over 150 MPGe (miles per gallon equivalent), making it VERY inexpensive to operate. No oil changes, you can pre-heat or pre-cool your car in a closed garage, you can start each day with a full "tank" without going to the gas station. My car has about 6% degradation in battery capacity over 5 years, meaning this car will last for a LONG time. Even at the end of its life, the batteries can be repurposed, meaning they're not just dumped in a landfill. As the grid gets cleaner, EVs get cleaner. My car is powered by 100% solar, so ZERO carbon is created by me driving.

I appreciate you guys. I’m one of the few people that don’t pick sides. I’m a car guy first and love old gas cars, new gas cars and EVs. My garage currently contains a Tesla and also a 1967 Mustang Fastback and a new Land Rover Defender. I don’t have any hate and like all types of cars for different reasons.

Friend of mine switched from a Tesla to a Polestar. Although he misses the cool stuff and gadgets from the Tesla, the Polestar is, quality-wise, 10 steps ahead. No plastic leather anymore and the build quality is superior. The fact that the paintwork is so bad after a few years under some trees... You guys did a great job making it look new again, though!

No on electric cars, there's literally no benefit to having an electric car versus gas, electric cars are way to computerized and no they aren't environmentally friendly. Edit: But evs are getting better as time goes on, so maybe someday they'll be a good option.

sure, 10 years ago a tesla woulda been very cool to own, but other brands like Mercedes, Porsche and Rimac all have a far superior build quality in comparison to tesla. I am very much into engine noise of battery whine though.

It depends. Do you own a home and can install a charger? Do you live near a city or in the middle of nowhere? If you can install a charger and live near a city, EVs are ideal and will save you money, especially if you get a used one. The near lack of maintenance of EVs is great. Other than buying my cars, they have never seen the dealership or a car maintenance shop.

Yes, i'm team electric. Not for efficiency reasons though. In the case of my BMW, I went electric because I get a 48V Roll Bar, Rear Air Suspension, and Adaptive M Suspension standard, which dramatically changes the ride quality over the ICE version. The 48V Roll Bars and Rear Air Suspension aren't available on the ICE equivalent.

Not the team electric car because it doesn't have an engine and it runs on batteries so you have to charge it again and again. And if I buy a tesla I would remove the battery pack and put an engine in it.

Love you guys, but I have one critique. Why are you wearing Crocs? Listen, I understand that people swear by the comfort of those shoes. However, you are in the Detailing business. You are messing with dirt, gravel, mold, etc, and using a lot of water & liquid cleansers to clean the car. Crocs are not full shoes, and they have holes on the top of the shoe. As a result, you don't have the best protection for your feet from the debris and the liquids. There are Work Boots that you can buy that are comfortable, waterproof, and in turn protect your ankles & feet from all the debris and liquids. Caterpillar, Thorogood. Carhart, just to name a few brands. Leave the Crocs for when you are not working.

Well I like any form of transportation. I have an old muscle car,72 AMX , a 75 MGB, and daily drivers are 2020 BMW convertible and a 99 F350 7.3 dually. My next is going to be an electric truck as soon as they become reasonable. I have solar and generate more electricity than I use so it would not cost anything to charge it and when I lost power during this last hurricane I could have used it to power the house. The only thing my cars could do was charge my cell phones 😂. So I embrace technology and the past. No reason we can’t have both. Also, would be nice to know the time it takes to do your detailing. The time spent on the car was good to know. Like how long it actually took to fix the hood and so on. I think those little details would people appreciate more what you actually do. Great work guys!

You have proven my point to many car guys I know, I have been dead set against vehicles with a high price tag for many years, 2nd my belief is vehicles should be all electronic, why vehicles are not respected as investment so you have a vehicle unlike gas power witch has a batteries & has to be returned to a dealer so it can come back to life ! We are retired and own one car. Gas only. If we HAD a second car, we would probably go electric. When we replace the car we have now, we plan to go hybrid.

Definitely no on EVs ! If people are concerned about the environment they need to realize how the batteries are manufactured how that more than cancels out using electricity over gasoline or diesel. They also need to realize that the electric grid can barely support the electricity we use now and if everyone had an electric car there would be brownouts and blackouts everywhere.

While I think electric cars make sense in some use cases, I just like classic or older cars as well as being able to work on them myself. Also, there is no room (or garage) to even park a car in front of our house, so no wallbox or charging would be possible at home. And for it to be more environmentally friendly i'd want solar panels on the roof to charge it. That would be a cool setup to go shopping (i wouldn't even have to waste my gas engine on these short drives) but it's just not a viable alternative for me🤷‍♂️

I am from an era in which you drove what was available, affordable and simply reliable. Personally always liked the look of American elegance but definitely believe in the reliability of foreign cars from the Asian market. The look of several European vehicles are nice also. If I had to buy an EV Tesla based on its looks alone would probably be last. Lucid is nice, the Mercedes also looks great. I’ve seen some GM EV that I believe look nicer than Tesla. Till I can afford and or really need to have an EV I stick with straight gas vehicles

Another example of excellent work (I needed a tip to remove super glue 3 from my car door). One of my neighbors decided to glue the driver's door handle 😱, I've already tried to remove the glue with cellulose thinner, but no the glue didn't come off, if anyone can help me with another solution I'd appreciate it,thanks

It’s not a 100% solution for all drivers at this time, but IF you can afford the current premium price and you live in a building where there are dedicated chargers installed or can afford to install your own, THEN, EVs are a great choice to reduce your dependence on fossil fuels. They’re also fun to drive and quieter to reduce stress and over-stimulation during your commute. ⚡️

I have a bunch of tesla hot wheels and matchbox's, I'm trying to get the cyber truck from hot wheels, but people are charging 50 dollars for one little hot wheel's cyber truck.
