So just a tip the soft roller heads are for hard floors. It's not really to prevent scratching, it's just the best tool to use in general for hard floors, that alone makes a huge difference over standard cleaner heads.
Hahaha, I wish...maybe if my channel gets so large they would send me something. I do this more for fun, but I do get a little advertising money from Google. I am glad you found it helpful!
I had the Shark ionflex 2x duo clean. Bought little over $300 4 years ago with 3 year warranty. It's been great but now battery doesn't hold much and it heats up in just 5 mins of use. Its time for a change. Contemplating on getting jet90 or ion flex 2x again.
Hello! Do you have to press a button constantly to keep it powered on? Or is it a one click button and it powers on until hit again to power off? Thanks!
I was thinking Samsung was running a promo if you got the Jet 90 you got the cleaning stations for free about a month ago. Right now they are just doing $200 off, which is the same price as the cleaning station...but that is not required to get the $200 off. If Mat responses back.
This is one of a better review out there. The best part you have replied to almost all the queries in the comment section. That's brilliant. How much time the battery lives actually?
Thanks. So for battery life, it really is going to depend on your vacuum settings and style (low, medium, or high). I typically vacuum my whole house (about 1,600 SF) on medium and only hit the high for my thicker rugs and it is pretty low by the time I am done after 45ish mins. According to Samsung it can last 1 hour when using the low setting, but I find that setting only works great for hard surfaces like tile or wood floors. If you leave it on high the whole time it lasts for about 15mins from what I can tell. If you have a larger house compared to myself I would recommend getting the stand with an extra battery. I however have been fine with just the one battery. Hope that helps.
Hello, question re: filter(s). Does it have a foam filter like the Shark brand ones? Because if so, small particles of hair (from hair cuts on the floor) would stick to the foam filter and near impossible to remove. How many filters does it have to remove and for washing?
I don't know what the Shark has, but the Jet 90 washable filter is like a fabric type filter...they call it a micro filter. I have a cat and dog and don't have issues with hair getting stuck in it. In addition to the washable filter they have a HEPA filter in the top, but I have never replaced that. They show pictures of the filters on Samsung's website. Hope that helps
You have to lay it down and I think it is because most of the weight is at the top. I know my old Dyson, this Samsung one and an LG one all required to be laid on the ground. Not sure of another brand that stands on its own.
@@PUREreviews Thanks for letting me know. I've bought one on Amazon (cheap brand - forgot the name) and it stands up by itself. That being said, not a deal breaker as the one on Amazon didn't last. I did try the Dyson V11 when I was shopping around and felt the build quality was a little flimsy when moving it around (parts such as the handle felt loose and parts were creaking). Is the Samsung the same thing i.e. parts feels loose and creaks?
@@LOL9622 I have not tried any of the wet vacs so not sure which ones is great. I can say I have one of those Bissell Spotbot for my dog and have been pleased with it.
I don't think I could truly compare to current Dyson cordless vacuums because I have not physically test them...only looked online before making my choice. I did replace my old Dyson upright vacuum with this Samsung vacuum and I like the Samsung better than my Grandma's Dyson cordless...but that is several years old. My Samsung has a better battery life and better suction vs hers, but once again it is old so the battery is not a good and that affects the suction (not really fare to compare them). Dyson is a great brand though, so I think you would be happy with either. What made me switch was Samsung Canister setup, more accessories and options, and the cleaning station (but that is extra). Those are the items that made me choose Samsung over the over getting the Dyson V11.
It is pretty quick....I would say about 10 mins max if you are in turbo the whole time. I use turbo for spot cleaning areas as you would not want to use it for everything.
can someone tell me what the battery indicators look like when it is fully charged? I just got a jet 75 and the 3 LEDs stay on when it is charged, but the owners manual states that the LEDs dims when it is charged. Do I have a defective battery? thanks.
My LEDs stay on all the time and never turn off when it is fully charged. I have had the vacuum for a while now and the battery still works great, so I would say the manual is just incorrect. I only have the one battery, but I assume if you have a second battery in the docking station those lights stay on too. Hope that helps.
Samsung sells a mop head attachment that can do the light mopping. Basically, you fill the mop head with water only and it keeps the spinning mop pads wet while you clean the floor. It does not suck up the water, so this is a damp cleaning system like a Swiffer pad. After you have used them you throw the mop pads in the washing machine to clean them again. Hope that helps.
According to their website it is: Parts : 12 months, Labor : 12 months. Here is the link to all the fine print if you want to read through it. I have not used any warranty services though Samsung, so not sure how easy they are to work with. www.samsung.com/us/support/service/warranty/VS20R9046T3/AA
We all need to get Samsung to see my video and send me one so I can compare the two. From what little I saw of them it looks like they are the same tech, just with the custom colours. But I could be wrong on that. I do have a BeSpoke Samsung fridge, which I love.
@@adsencely.adsencely7123 The Jet90 has been basically replaced with the Jet75 Complete and Bespoke Jet. The Jet 60 Pet which is the one you are talking about has less suction power at 150 vs 200 AW and less battery life 40mins vs 120. Other things are different too like number of tools, LED display, etc. I am assuming when you say "pro" you are meaning the one in my video. Hope that helps.
According to their website it is a 1 year labor and parts and 10 year motor. They also list the following for the battery: "*Maintains 70% capacity after 5 years of use at 100 cycles/year, based on the battery package capacity (2850mA)"
I have not used the Dyson v11...but I got burned with the battery powered Dysons early on and never went back. They would die after a few minutes, but that was their first battery powered device...not sure even what the name was.
@@Eric76 I have not tried that one. I liked my corded Dyson, but I had a early handheld and it had nothing but battery issues. That kind of turned my off of the Dyson battery stuff, but I am sure they have since solved those issues as it was when Lithium batteries started to become popular.
So I don't know anyone who owns the V11 and have not compared them. I was turned off Dyson battery powered vacuums because I owned the V6 handheld and after a month I started to have battery issues. Several batteries later I trashed my old V6 and have stayed away from Dyson units that have them. I did however enjoy my Animal until this new vacuum by Samsung came along.
Are you talking about the shipping box? If so I am no clue as I don't have the box anymore. You might check out Samsung's website as they typically list dimensions in their specs.
IF IT DOSENT COME WITH AN EXTRA BATTERY 🔋 IAM NOT INTERESTED WHAT'S SO EVER,, ESPECIALLY FOR A HIGH PRICE TAG,,, SAMSUNG GET YOUR FINGER OUT OF YOUR ARSE AND SURPLY THE HIGH END VACUUM CLEANER'S WITH 2 BATTERY'S IN THE BOX,,, SIMPLE 👍
Guess you will have to wait for a deal on a free battery. I have seen that promo in the past, but I don't see them making 2 batteries standard since other brands like Dyson don't do that either. I have yet needed 2 batteries, but I also don't have a larger home.
This is probably the most silly attempt to copy dyson ever. When you have to buy a vacuum with the bag so you can empty the bugless vacuum, doesn't seem like such a clever design :)). Dude.. huge mistake, the V11 not only that is light years ahead of any attempt of a cordless vacuum but the V15 with the laser head is from different dimension :)), not to mention the customer support, repairs, spare parts which is something that others should take note of.
Glad you love your Dyson. My original one had a ton of battery issues and for me, customer support was horrible when I tried to figure out what was wrong with it. I spent a lot of money on it and basically could only use it for 2 min bursts. Customer service just wanted to sell me more batteries, which did the same thing. I probably just had a lemon product but gave up as they didn't want to fix it and I didn't want to waste more money. With that said, my wife does love her Dyson Airwrap...so you never know.
@@PUREreviews 1. Highly doubt it you went to service and they would let you out with a machine that runs for 2 mins. 2. Your mishap is not something common (like you see, they sell a lot of these machines) and should not have let you judge the rest of the lineup. 3. If you would have understood the technology behind Dysons vacuums it there is no way you would have chosen a much inferior product at the same price (that in time will be way more expensive due to the maintenance costs) 4. Samsung has no track record of supporting their products for any amount of time, in 2 years is highly possible that you will not find any batteries or filters or bags (if that doesn't happen already) 5. Get a V15 and a 360 s10 robot and your life will change :))
