The reef tank is looking a little grungy so it's time to scrub it down and take the opportunity to discuss the channel, reality and of course...magic. I don't want to spoil the entire ramble, but together we will discover that magic is in the moments. It's all around, all the time...and this dirty reef tank is a perfect example of that.
I'll strap on my invisible gloves, grab the camera and get to some reef tank maintenance while we talk about magic and the wonders of finding yourself in the moment.

Love the look of the NUVO 20! How much did you get this for used all in? I’ve got a biocube 16. The 20 peninsula seems to have so much more room! Did he price the light differently?

It was all a complete package. I paid about 2k for the whole thing. In my previous reef build video I go through all the equipment but I've still got a giant box in the garage full of even more stuff include an mp10! I could build another (and will) tank with all the extra parts haha. It was a great deal.

I see that you have the Hannah checkers. How are your parameters without water changes? Do you dose the elements that the corals consume? Didn’t hear you speak about that while talking about no water changes. Also, I think that was a hermit crab molt not a dead crab, u think?

I never considered it could be a molt. Good call! I've been pretty lazy about testing the parameters and I've been dosing but very little amounts (0.5ml a day CA, ALK, and Mg). I'll make an update soon about testing the parameters, deciding if no water changes is still working and I also need to revitalize with new life!
