I would say the same thing, he love's cars but I think as a great Husband he is He will be waiting for Casey to come back and then do all the things to MK2. Or maybe I'm wrong and only I do this with my gf 😂
I sold my MK2 Jetta 8v daily driver about 10 years ago. It was all a all black Wolfsburg edition with red trim lines. I kept it all original except for a aftermarket radio. It was so nice stock, I just didn't have it in me to modify it. Some older 16v wheels would look pretty nice on the red Jetta. I remember the roominess and feeling of the big butt rear end on the road. I also had a heavily modified MK3 GTI VR6 in my garage at the time.
The temptation is real 😆. I saw a sick mk2 jetta on Instagram looks like a bunch of people tagged you about it already. For sure the zaubers would look sick on that car!
You cant leave ya peeps hanging for six months , trim paint , detail , lower, wheels just let her enjoy a clean ride when she gets back be a good husband 😂
Such a good looking car and that color is SICK!! At least you get to collect parts for the next 6 months. Don’t forget you have the Pink Floyd and then whatever the plan is for the wagons and the GTI. So always lots to do. Looking forward to what’s next!!
Not sure if you're using Premiere to edit, but if you are, turn on optical flow for those slow mo shots, otherwise the framerate goes to poop and it just doesn't look at good as the normal speed stuff.
Gotta say missed watching the weekly uploads but such is life more catching up to do. The video quality always getting better with the views getting bigger and bigger. 😁
With just a wash it looks super clean. I honestly can't wait for the mk2 content. As for the headlights try and find yourself a set of ecodes. I've got a set on mine and I love the look. As for motor swap. Definitely vr6 swap it. A vr6 looks right at home in a mk2 bay!🙂
DAMN!!! Such a nice car AND those shots in the montage, this centent is getting better and better, KEEP IT ON!!!! Btw, i own a mk3 joker (EURO. edition) from 98 (97 model) in the color dragon green (LC6P) Its a nice pearl green, maybe a future project in that color?
I really hope you will not use trim paint - but try TP49 instead, it is a vinyl treatment and works so much better and doesn't ruin your bumpers in the long run :) Loving the mk2 - have a golf 16v my self!!
that trim also looks really thirsty :P i've always wanted a coupe mk2 Jetta ofc a diesel :) and then fit quad headlights and a set of either 3 piece schmidt moderns or a set of banded 15 inch steels
Those shot's was absolutely beautiful. The car might not have any sort of clear coat on it, i believe it is a solid color.. which can be restored much more easily with a bit of detailing skills
@@Mk3Smith back in the day automotive paint was just a single stage (solid) which means (strength, color and gloss all in one). Modern paint, base coat has (no strength) just a color only and sealed up + protected by a clear coat which is 2 sperate parts. :)

Well.. Now I really start to miss my 2door jetta Mk2.. Still swapping it to vr6.. Some little parts are missing but no money and now time.. And I need German tüv for it 🤙
The vr6 engine in Miley should go to the mk2 the u do a fully rebuilt engine turbo set up on 3.6 then 4 motion, just a suggestion but Miley has to be the power house please man😭😭❤️

Can't you do a round headlight conversion? If so, with a roof spoiler and lower(not bags) and nice wheels, not the Zaubers! (Not into the AMG look on cars other than on MBs) Also a full Recaro interior. This car would be sick! No Car Club Spec please!! Unless Casey likes that. Obviously!
Years ago when I had a mk2 jetta I designed and had printed some badges, they were a version of wolfsberg edition, they were Das Booted edition I have the design somewhere I could send it to you
