Driving in town it's a nightmare and heavy on fuel ! 😭 But between traffic lights after 4000rpm's she's an screamer 1st gear 68km at 8400rpm's 2nd gear 114km at 8400 RPM's 3rd gear 155km at 8400Rpm's (GPS speeds)

Changing the chassis was child's play. 👍The Mk2 looks really good.👌👌 Now only the gearbox change and he is prepared for the 3.6 swap.😉Should I help you in February after ET 10?😁
Florida roads are so smooth and flat compared to Virginia roads. Up here feels like they paved over anything that was laying in the road. Cars looking good.

Are these shocks from Bilstein ? The previous owner missed left out on the little springs, that prevent the bigger one from jumping around. That dust is debrie coming from the seat foam itself. The 2 Bolt Connction on the Lower strut to the front shox is way better designed than vw nowaday did. The 1974 Super-Beetle was the first one they did this, the MK3 Golf unfortunally the last.
Have you tried to move the little lever underneath the doorlock? I think thisone is responsible for the child lock. If its adjusted between the positions it could case that the whole lock isn't working. Sorry for bad english wording.
