Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune is the name of the series! This particular entry is actually meant to be played on an arcade machine, but I'm using an emulator to play it on PC instead hahaha

However, as a quick starter for you: download an emulator called TeknoParrot, and then head on over to Internet Archive to download the WMMT rom. From there, follow whichever guide you found to get started with playing the game. Hope this helps somewhat!
Something cool about emulating WMMT is the fact that the framerate directly affects the game speed; I play at 90 fps rather than 60, so I’m literally gaming at 1.5x the speed you’d be playing at in the arcades! It helps me practice for when I actually play on the machines; peeps are always surprised at how well I take “high-speed” turns, yet it actually feels like I’m playing in slow-motion compared to what I’m used to hahaha
@@EreNyn3 oh, so that's why the game looks like fast forwarded well, if you play it at the normal 60fps, the 86 will 0.5x slower (idk how many times do i edit this comment, haha)
for what reason would you ever want to shift up in the middle of a turn? he’s maximising time spent in the powerband of the ae86, not just going into the turn but out of it as well (which is pretty common sense all things considered)
