Awesome! I loved this video 🥰 I always make these type of sprays, and I can recommend you that you can add a few drops of alcohol into the bottle to preserve the water spray, and also it will make the fragance stays longer in the air 😋💜
You should also educate your viewers that Undiluted essential oils should not be stored in plastic containers, as some properties in many essential oils will break down the plastic, which can destroy the oil and often cause leakage!
I am allergic to smoke, so sage smudges and incense isn't going to do it for me. So, I started to make my own sage spray 'recipe' and just like you showed in this video, I make up my own and it varies each time, depending what I am inspired to use and what I have around the house. When my sage bush growing in my garden died, I made some cleansing sprays without sage, but with rosemary and mint from my garden. Sometimes, I add flowers from my garden such as petunia, hibiscus, aster or rose flowers with the intention of the flower meanings. I plan to add cinnamon and cloves next time as I love cinnamon. I don't think it matters what the 'recipe' is because it is the intention. Each one of my cleansing spray batch has been different, but each one does indeed cleanses and clears my home.
I made something like this not too long ago...I can't burn sage where I currently live and my small one has been having nightmares so I made a sage"tea" and out it in a spray bottle with some oils and a little salt and a rose quartz and smudged the whole house with it...love this!!
Great idea! I will add to mine covering the bowl while it steeps to retain as much of the volatile principles as possible and I will probably strain it through a coffee filter to ensure there are no fragments to clog the sprayer. Thanks for the video.
Use your intention: stir counterclockwise saying something like "I charge this this liquid to banish negative and unwanted energy from the space where I spray it" ; then stir clockwise saying "and I ask that it bring in peace to my space".
How long does it last before it goes bad? I have plastic spray bottle I wanna reuse. I want to use the spray daily so I dont expect it to last long and I wanna make it regularly. Do you always use fresh herbs? (other then cinnamon and cloves) And do you store it just in room?
I cant really give you a time frame, I quickly use mine up. You could add a vitamin E to it so it lasts longer as well as use amber glass. I keep it stored in a dark pantry. And yes, I always use fresh herbs. ❤
love love LOVE that you have fun with it! Your laugh is contagious! Thank you for this video, I got a spray bottle so I wanted to make a spray alternative to smoke cleansing for on the go whenever I can't burn anything!
