CLEANSUIT - Home Invasion Text Horror Game 

Can you imagine being a serial killer, only to find the victim killed themselves getting LAUNDRY

I enjoy this game's self-aware, snarky tone. I think these atmospheric, text-based games have been some of the best recently; stuff like Faith and The House Abandon. Minimises the chances of the game killing itself via janky animation, recycled assets and bad voice acting. Also, this dev better give us a Johnny Knifeblaster spin-off game, because that name is too good to waste.

Funny enough if you order pizza on the phone, the delivery guy always beats the murderer.

I like the 8-bit sound effect when you pick up stuff. Get gas mask: "dun dun". Get bleach: "dun dun".

“Wait a minute. _You don't know any silhouettes!”_ Okay, you got me with that one.

home invasion is a big fear of mine too, but this seems like a fun game regardless. would like an explanation for the secret murder chamber, though

i love how john doesnt even realize he basically made Chlorine Gas which is right up the danger alley with Mustard Gas

Real weird that the killer seems to have an obsession with your childhood teddy bear, also having set up a secret underground lair in _your_ house, apparently going in and out multiple times without your knowledge. Really seemed like it was setting up to be you being the killer all along, but then he just comes down and you finish it up like all that didn't matter.

What do we call John if he gets lost in the woods? A Where-Wolfe!

We really do need more of horror games about home invasion. It's a topic that resonates with a lot of people and I think a lot can be done with that premise.

"Good evening, Sir! Your landlord sent me here for the monthly fumigation! I hope you don't mind if I get started in the basement, it shouldn't take---OH GOD WHY AM I ON FIRE!?!?!?!"

John this reminds me of a flash game called “intruder” its a really high quality one which is also about a killer, he’s in your house while you arrive home and you have to make your through to find your wife. I highly recommend it it is very unsettling especially for a flash game

this game was heeeella cool, i loved watching this! from the kinda creepy visuals, to the sarcasm looking at the bathroom sink, to the uneasy silence around 27:20 and on in just _knowing_ the killer was close by. oh, and this just being a command prompt horror game, i really enjoyed watching you play this. :D

Theory: Cleansuit Killer is the dude who built your house, thus the secret basement you didn't know about despite designing the damn thing yourself. Alternatively: Cleansuit Killer KNEW the architect and either works with them, or took over from them somehow (maybe killed them and took their place or something). The cleansuit is because they're part of the local crimescene cleanup crew, which is the best way to learn the homes' layouts. They probably ended up cleaning up a lot of their own crimescenes, come to think of it. IDK. Just a possibility.

Cleansuit killer should either work as an agent in the Hitman series, or for the Dark Brotherhood in Elder Scrolls. He gets all his bonus payments for people dying by "accidents" with laundry, and no one ever connects the dots.
