My only RECOMMENDATION (not 100 percent sure the results would change a lot) but clay/decontaminate the truck before you do something like this it really gives the shines and waxes the opportunity to bond with the layers beneath
Only problem with the roof is after the oil n such dries up that roof is gonna look just like it did before since there’s no clear on it to prevent fade. My dads f550 work truck has the same issue on the hood, it’ll fade in a few months time unfortunately. Edit: Still looks great tho don’t get the wrong idea!
gotta be careful with wax getting on those older black seals man, it’ll stain so fast. You should try out some of griots garage products, I used their boss polishes and orange and black pads, used on several different colour vehicles and the results were always amazing.
Quick question? On a older video you swapped out grill on Silverado . Question is I have a 2022 rst. By any chance can my grill be swapped out with a ltz or high country grill???? Thank you
Met us know how long it lasts. I've had mixed results with clear that worn. I wound up painting my 05 in my garage myself back in 2020. Really crazy project but came out pretty darn good. If you want to go that route let me know I'll hit you up on IG for pointers.
what you dont understand is hazing clear coat is oxidizing from the suns UV's only way to correct it is stripping all the clear off the top surfaces effected, prime and re paint it....top of doors and hood will soon follow...so you wasted time here.
