*IMPORTANT* -- you need to have completed a lvl 4 overthrow in EACH area before ANY of them will spawn the secret keeper. Many people did this passively in week 1 doing Micah Quests, but in case you do an overthrow lvl 4 and it doesn't spawn the enemy after 30s, it means you haven't done one of them ever before. To be CLEAR... you need to have completed ALL 3 at least once for your account to be "ready for this to work" ... THEN you can follow this guide (do the 3 overthrows and kill the 3 enemies, etc.) -- Also, if you're unfamiliar with the callouts: imgur.com/a/TaDApIg
Do wen need to replay this mission on all classes to get the exotic item on all classes? Or do we just need to complete in on 1 class to drop it on all classes ???
I just unlocked the quest without having to complete overthrow on every section by joining a fire team with someone who was able to unlock the secret keepers enemy having already done every section once.
Once you're fully done, you'll receive an email from Bungie with instructions about the required 5000 word essay on the importance of making sure your 3rd player is still engaged while they're doing absolutely nothing.
Bungie need a kick in the balls for this mission. You have a fireteam of three then get a pop up saying only two can go into the misssion so one person has to drop or get kicked. What kind of shit house nonsense is that?
I don't comment often but just wanted to show my appreciation for your work. I discovered your channel today and the way you vulgarize and epxlain the information is just great. Great job 💯💯
Extremely underrated content creator. Always crystal clear explanations and the build guides are always phenomenal as well. You’d probably make a great teacher. Never comment on videos but had to put it out there.
You deserve more imo. Very clear to me as someone who is returning to D2 after a year. I can't stand most Destiny youtubers but you're an exception for sure! @@CastleContent
Thank you for explaining things clearly and using pics (w visual cues). As a guy who understands things better visually this is the best Dual Destiny guide I've seen here. Saw 5 different guides all of them barely bothered explaining the first encounter (few know it CAN be skipped, save about a minute), and the 4th encounter (first sun dial clock) left me REALLY confused back then. Cheers 🍻
Ive had that dang green beam for two weeks… omg! You’re the only person explaining this. I could never locate what i thought the source would be. Im going to try to solo this part.
I have already spent two weeks anguishing over my go to streamers explaining this quest- and find no explanation as to how the quest materializes… until now!! So grateful!
My friend and I went in dry on the mission, and the mechanics were pretty simple to figure out, only one that caused us to fail was trying to figure out the last part. Took two tries, but damn, what a great mission
You’re the first streamer that explains the steps prior to getting the secret mission- up front! If ever. Thanks! I watch many popular streamers. I subscribed.
Thanks! I think with this info I can actually see if I can find someone to run the mission with me. As much as I've loved the Final Shape, I hate that there are forced multiplayer things hiding a pinnacle. I usually play alone, especially when I'm not on max level. I don't want to feel like I'm being carried.
You can farm the chests (I believe it's the ones dotted around, not the Overthrow ones, could be both) on Pale Heart once you get the item. It's about a 1 in 20 chance, so you'll randomly get one doing Pale Heart grinding. ONLY once you get the class item though, you HAVE to do the mission first.
I already had a good idea on how the mechanics work, but now I feel confident enough to teach this activity. And it’s all thanks to your guidance 😁 thank you so much! I now know how it all works.
Thank you for making this video. I really appreciate that I could actually follow it. Seems like this is still going to be a challenge, but now I can head in knowing what to do.
All other guides FAIL in comparison to this one!EXCELLENT work! Only problem is Bungie should have made the quest matchmaking for solo players who have no clan or ppl to play with.
This update is so exhausting and lazy by bungie. Do this, do that and this and that, now do this and then that but do this that way with this and that while loads of ads spawn (false difficulty) once done go here and.....do this and that, take this to that and that to this. And then find someone to play this coop mission to get an exotic we totally didn't fully explain during the hype train so it's basically gatekept for solo players. This update is giving me game of thrones last season let down rage again.
@@swannnny I wouldn't know as I don't really play short games. But to be fair, thinking a company can satisfy everyone is illogical. Also the numbers speak for themselves and the fact they've had big layoffs kind off validates my point really. You can only milk a cow for so long before the milk sours.
@dapreecey I agree but if I had to choose between long form content and short form i know what I'd prefer, I get it's long winded sometimes but that just adds to the achievement when completed, this is what destiny is and always has been, I'm guessing these people don't know the grind of exotic farming for gally or icebreaker on vog and things like that, the game has its longwinded concepts but it also has a lot of quick satisfying content, my point is if the games content was over in a few days that would be a lot more disappointing than it taking a bit of extra time and effort to complete
I had my sister in law and our clan mate run it for me. I got synthoceps calibans for my hunter. Bought one from Xur this wknd and got assassin's and gyrfalcons, so no my choir has destabilizing with onslaught lol and the melee with throwing dart is a boom maker
Important to add that there are 2 separate clocks in the final clock part, my partner and I were getting frustrated at the fact that we matched a lot of nodes but none of them counted, thinking that there was only the one clock we were staring at.
First and foremost I want to say thank you so for such an in depth tutorial. I've seen a few since getting back into playing destiny and have to say the way you broke everything down made it very easy to digest. This will be the first build I'll be attempting. So I just finished unlocking all the fragments for your hunter build and now want to work on unlocking the class item. I have a question though. 1) Do I need to have the original exotic unlocked in order to combine them with my class item or is the perks randomly selected from all exotics in the game ? I'm trying get the one with the perks you suggested on your hunter build. Spirit of the Dragon & Spirit of the Cyrtarachne
The secret bosses in each location does not arrive for me. I have tried multiple times in different locations. Nothing. Did all levels and the boss. No text. No enemies.
I had that too. I think for me I was getting to their spawn too early. I waited near final boss chest until text for secret keeper appearing popped up then went to their spawn.
I remember doing the circular mechanic with tormentors encounter the way we communicated the nodes that are NOT lit. Then the guy with the buff shot the ones not lit by the other guy.
Nightman: What are the boxes? Dayman: AHHHHH Nightman: Fighter and the Witness?! Dayman: AHHHHH Nightman: Champion and a Sun? Dayman: Yeah actually, um yeah those are it.
Question: can I trigger the exotic mission myself? or do I need a fireteam in order to complete the overthrown and the green bar bosses? other than that, excellent video, new sub!
pc baby gamer destiny youtubers are among the most delusional people on the planet. i always get a chuckle when i see the words/phrases: “bungie cooked”, “broken”, “cracked”, “best mission/raid ever”, or my personal favorite - “easy”.
Telling noobs/casuals/solo players how "easy" it is to do said mission/raid etc. is probably the worst thing you can say as a youtuber. Its "easy" to them because they have no lifed the game and done every raid, dungeon, exotic mission. They are also likely in a clan with other experienced players who also do the same thing and are equally as skilled. Yes its easy to them because they have friends and experience. The solo/casual player can't do team based stuff because of how toxic the community is when it comes to lfg.
@@John-on8ldidk, i dont get much time to play anymore but i still get most content done with relative ease including raids and especially dungeons. i understand that sometimes the lfg community might be toxic but ive found that in my time playing only one in every 50 or so runs of any kind of difficult content have had a toxic experience, the key is to just be upfront if you dont know things bc otherwise people are going to expect things you cant do. ive soloed almost all possible content in the game and completed everything at the highest difficulty all still while solo for the majority of it so idk.
@@postmental_thoughts They're making excuses for their skill issues. I'm a casual player that solos most stuff. If I don't have my raid team, I get in an LFG. Yes, there are some toxic people in LFG for sure, but it's really not bad. Either look up a short guide first or, like you said, communicate that you need help learning something. People saying you have to be a no life to do this stuff are coping hard
