I've been gaming for 20+ years from console to PC and my passion is around educating others on how to improve in them. Currently this channel is focused on Destiny 2.
I've used it enough to be able to know where it will detonate in mid air without hitting anything to set them in the path of harpies and other flying enemies. It's so fun
Jesus wasting two minutes to explain what autoloading does and then what feeding frenzy does and then showing a Commemoration reloading!? etc etc and on and on just to pad the run time out to *exactly* 8mins just for the ad revenue is just so blatant it hurts. Respect for the viewer's time destroyed. This could have been a 30 second short with two important notes. A: It fires 5 bursts that don't stack B: It gives a tonne of transcendant energy for some reason C: (Optional) It will explode midair which can be helpful for flying enemies D: You probably want Quick Launch, Autoloading, and One for All There you go, a Short in 1 min that would get as much engagement (or more) but wouldn't waste people's time and wouldn't have made me now avoid your videos.
Made the build and I don’t die as often, but I still died with it. It is however enjoyable watching the Threadlings attack enemies, the Sever needles hone in on enemies, and enemies unraveling into tangles.
I’m running Skyburner’s oath (every hip fire bullet applies scorch) That starts the loop - weighted knife activates an ignition. So shoot one bullet from the hip and throw the knife. Fragments like melee energy when scorching and grenade energy on ignition kills pairing with gunpowder gamble (which counts as a grenade) is an insane build. Skyburner gives you explosive rounds that immediately apply scorch (without the need to kill) and long range since it’s a scout rifle. Best one I’ve played. Match with ophidia spathe for extra knife so you can have two back to back ignitions
New to the channel and I really enjoyed this first video. Please keep the amazing builds coming bro. Oh and just subbed because of such a well put together build and video
Castle, dont gove up please, I am also a visual learner and for the first time I can easily understand and implement a build in-game with visible results
I may or may not exclusively run Sweet Business/Actium War Rig. Am I accurate? No. Am I still landing more rounds on target than the rest of the team through sheer volume of fire? Yes.
3:14 titans, you can run double special with the ergo sum that has refund this season and strong holds. If you have the risk runner, cloud strike, Polaris lance, or gjallarhorn ergo sum, you can melt hoards of majors and just have a boss DPS heavy.
I love the visual representations you put into your explanations! You gained a sub :) So 3,000% if you're in your super and Transcendent. If you aren't either, its closer to 240% right? Though you could try to theoretically bump that higher with a Destabilizing Round + Repulsor Brace weapon like Word of Crota. I can't remember if a full OS is +100 or +200 health but the percents would jump to 360% and 480% if I'm doing the math right with a base health of 200.
just a thought, but if you dont want to run khvostok exotic, use this in the first slot, and a wave frame energy grenade launcher in second slot to do light damage for a high uptime prismatic build
A sleeper perk in the 4th column that I don't recall being mentioned is High Ground. It's up to 25% and it's easy to proc with either kills to build stacks, or just being 1 meter over your enemy to get max stacks.
pair it with strategist and demolitionist on warlock, u can basically spam abilities, work similarly as Osmiomancy but save u a exotic. Very synergistic.
Just randomly looking for build ideas and your video showed up, instant sub from me. Love how much effort has gone into breaking down the build along with the editing, looking forward to more!
If this gives dark energy super fast, what is the alternate weapon that can give light energy super fast? How do the 2 play together with being transcendant?
That’s a really good tip I never thought about make sure to always spread out the shots versus always grouping them in single targets. Does it outperform Witherhoard?
I have one with Quick launch, velocity rounds, autoload and wellspring. I have to say, i obtined a Mountaintop recently and these two have been very fun to play with and got me into the GL style of play. Very cool weapon.
The build is great and all, but unfortunately not completely usable anymore because you can only get five fragments total with feed the void and lightning surge.
Sound advice is good for tryhards, but maaan, D2 has one of the best in-game music, so i'll recommend to adjust volumes, but not turning it totally off
I like to use this with a voltshot weapon so the DOT can trigger the chain lightning without having to continually hit the enemy. They need to boost the damage a bit and make it so the enemies aren't bumped out of the pools as well.
If I had to bet, I'd say that even though it only counts a single tick for damage no matter how many rifts an enemy is in, I bet it counts every tick for the transcendence energy and that's why you see it gain so much.
I remember doing the circular mechanic with tormentors encounter the way we communicated the nodes that are NOT lit. Then the guy with the buff shot the ones not lit by the other guy.
I've been using this weapon a lot and, as someone that thinks it's best used with ALH, I think Quick Launch is a bit of a trap at times. With HV Rounds + a Blast Radius MW it hits the blast radius cap, so I instead opted for Countermass to help manage the recoil and place my pools more effectively. It makes the weapon a little easier to use with only a slight drawback on the Handling. Since the pool's damage doesn't stack, I've been using One for All and just swapping it in for free damage during ad waves. It might not be the most damaging weapon in the game, but it feels pretty nice even in pinnacle content if you're effectively capitalizing on the DoT instead of trying to use it like any other GL.
