I am a settler descendant of various north and Eastern European ancestry, living on Turtle Island. Unfortunately my bank won't allow payment to go through (something about the payment company that holds the information not being trusted?) thank you so much! i love your healings so much, they feel very powerfull and loving! in the moment you did the energy healing about taking the space it made me feel so weird and nice, it was like all of the hot energy inside of me shifted to the outside of me, which made me feel so much lighter on the inside but very powerful on the outside.normally i feeel very very heavy inside. i also feel so protected, like noone can do me any harm. it feels nice to take up so much space and not having to take everything inside of me. and the bliss AHHH. i still have some shame around taking up space and being "too much" and being seen etc. but it will be better. i love you

I would like to know some practical ways to protect my energy. I’ve been giving too much power away and definitely playing small to maintain acceptance. I don’t understand from a feeling standpoint what grounding means or how to imagine spheres of sparkling light around me and believe that something is actually happening. I chase spirituality but a big part of me denies it exists because I’m bitter that I’ve never had any direct experience. It’s funny, how can I be so angry at something that’s never shown itself to even be real so I can be mad at it? If I don’t believe and have half-formed intentions, no amount of charms or forced imaginations will affect anything, is that correct? I know energy matters whether I understand or not, how can I begin anyway?

I could have written this exact comment about ten years ago. I highly recommend picking up Karla McLaren's book, "The Language of Emotions." She describes a lot of techniques from a psychological standpoint and explains how she came to understand it as a scientific mind. It's not all encompassing, but it's where I needed to start. The next place I would recommend for additional learning about the nervous system, would be to look up "The Trauma Geek" online.

I understand your feeling. It's like longing for mothering but you've never experienced it so when you see others with healthy mothers it's painful and triggering. The best practical way to work on protecting your energies is actually therapy and similar things. When you understand yourself and work on your patterns with other people it will help you keep your energies for yourself. I would also recommend you to explore hypnosis, and meditation (and watch more of my videos too) without expectations. See it more like getting fit, you just need some spiritual practice.
