It's been a busy weekend at The Overstock Toy Shop, and today we’re tackling multiple projects! First up, we're checking out last night's eBay sales-farewell to the 10-inch TMNT Leonardo Funko pops and more Target load items. Then it's on to the puzzle and games section, where we're organizing, decluttering, and trying to get things in shape.
From wooden and jigsaw puzzles to learning toys, we're shifting things around to make the store more functional. Plus, some insight on moving old stock, like the infamous Godfather games and other lingering items. Will we finally make some progress, or is it just another day of store chaos? Tune in and find out!
Don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe for more daily updates from The Overstock Toy Shop!

Biggest trick I've found in retail is mark down, and scarcity. If you displayed 100 boxes of items priced at $1, it's going to take FOREVER to sell. However, if you show their original price ($19) and put a bright green/orange sale sticker of $1 on it, and only have 5 of them out, you'll sell through them immediately. Put the bulk of them in the back and restock as needed. Customer isn't going to be inclined to buy something when they see 100 of them sitting there at this absurdly low price, they're going to think the product is garbage and no-one is buying it. If its "priced down" with only a handful left, they're wayyyyy more likely to consider it.

We've learned this lesson the long way. 100 percent correct. It feels like every time I put something bulk out in front of the store or wherever... it takes forever. If you put one or two of them out, they go.

You where able to get some prices changed on long term products that is a small win. I would just start on one side of the wall and make your way down condensing and changing prices to make room for the sporting goods. Then you can get that off the floor and then move to other areas with stuff on the floor.

Chipping away at it a little bit at a time that's for sure. I'm the king of getting sidetracked once I get going on something.

Another great Video. I would have a field day in the puzzle and game section organizing. One thing you can also do with the overstock toys , games, etc is donate to a Church, Christmas for Kids program something and at least get a tax write off while helping others. Win/Win.
