I don’t understand the doomposting. This is a HOYO game, it’s not going to fail. Hoyo games will always have a playerbase with people willing to whale for their characters. Even Honkai still makes them millions and that game is nearing its 10 year anniversary

imo you were clear in the OG vid. Your advice was understandable and clearly your opinion. People will have their opinion too and thats fine but this vid felt like a repeat of just saying the same thing to appease people who feel its their job to tell you how to be. Can't wait to see more content from you about ZZZ and dont worry if some don't agree with you, or maybe even misunderstand, imo that is on them. ❤

What's really important is building one dps for each element. levels > w engine > skills > disks after unlocking the gold ones

personally i want to push the artifact farming wayy back cus i hate rng farming in mihoyos game. We all gonna get there eventually

I think it’s worth noting that the best use of early ether batteries is if you’re at a proxy level break point and weekly reset is looming. Like this week, if an ether battery will get you to level 35 and you can run the notorious bosses at the higher rank, it’s worth it

As someone whose first gatcha was Genshin Impact, I agree with everything you’ve said. These were all things I had to learn the hard way and didn’t catch on until 2 years of playing. Save your resources, build your main team the as efficiently as you’re able, and try to enjoy the story and exploration in the meantime. This game has a long way to go until we really know what the meta is going to be.

About the W engines point. People should keep in mind that buying a W engine from the signal shop is a loss of 30 pulls. So its not worth it in the long run anyway.

In Genshin I was never farming mora, in this almost 4 years I was always with 10+ millions of mora in store, right now I have 35 millions, and I never farm weapons exp, I start to farm exp books after 2 years when I was getting all 70 characters to lvl 90, and I already had almost of them at lvl 90. Overall I never was short on any resources in Genshin. I HSR I start to lvl up every characters after I full cleared “abyss”, and only after that I sometimes get low on credits, and now I again have 7millions. In wuwa on the other hand… even with all apology gifts I’m always broke. And farming shells….

In regards to the Ether Batteries/Original Resin/Trailblaze Fuel, - We get 5 batteries/ORs/Fuel every BP (patch) - Hoyo usually sends some every few patches (10 as seen twice "SW patch + another one I don't remember" in HSR. They also just sent us 10 in ZZZ a few days ago, and it happened a lot in Genshin) - I do have a semi-strict policy when it comes to spending these. I always use them for guaranteed upgrades only, and I limit myself to 5~6 for every new character, in case I don't have any of their resources at all. This keeps a backup for the future if needed, and allows me to sometimes overspend (got up to 8 maybe) or even spend 1 every couple of weeks in case I still want to farm sth specific (hence I called it semi-strict) All in all, great video as usual, and you deserve way more than 2K subs. Great video man and for the ether batteries im afraid to use them in fear of messing up but hearing the comments from others saying instant rewards does make me feel more at ease and is safer than using it on disc drives. Though W-Engine, i finally got Ellen to come home but gonna try for her W-Engine. Yes i know power creep and early game yadda yadda but i love her so much. Though thanks again for the upload and happy 2k and one subs because im subbing and can't wait to see more from you! :)

really thankful for the reasoning in the video about ether batteries usage and what is not a wasteful use of it since i have been hesitent using the batteries for agent materials and for their skills and w-egine

Keeping batteries is good in couple of cases : if you are playing the long game , if the game gives you expirience in dailies so you naturally level and if you are not rushing to be done with the game , some people know they will play it for a month and its alright to use your resources ! 30 pulls is a lot for the shop so you make your own choice , but i would not spend them for pulls or engines right now , I would keep them and see if i find a favourite hero that can use an engine that is there , if not pulls it is .

Another take on buying the W-Engines is so far every A rank agent has a weapon tailor made for them.30 pulls will at least guarantee one of those and put you a good chunk into pity(80 for weapons) Also you can CRAFT most of the non signature A ranks for your S ranks and they should work just fine. That and your second standard S rank will usually be a weapon,and they are all pretty universal. (I got Grace then Koleda's weapon off standard)

the reason you should not use ether batteries early is because for the same amount of battery, you get less rewards when your inter-knot level is low.

Love this video and how you touched on what you said in the last video! I didn't agree with many things you said in the last one, but after clarifying everything, I agree 100% with you! even on the 5* weapons! no one should buy any until like 2.0 when we know more about them, specially those who are f2p. I play Genshin and I am not f2p there, and all my standard 5* are just there gathering dust

Hope you will reach 10k or even 50k before the end of this year I have a suggestion that you can add some timestamps about the topic you about to say in the videos, it's will make the video easier to understand without getting confused like "Uh? He just talked about Ether Batteries like seconds ago and now W-engine in Signal Shop?" Ik it's took a while to make but it's making people keep track of the video easier About Ether Batteries things,i think you shouldn't rush and also you can spend coins on Coffee for the Energy and drops buff everyday anyway,soo use the regenerated Energies and Coffee Buff and Energy like everyday is nice enough,wait till you reach to the point where grinding higher tier and quality materials or Disks then that when you should actually spend your Ether Batteries since if you're wasting it's this early,then when you reached early-endgame or endgame,the amount of materials and Disks (Stats rolls included) you need to grind will be quite tough and at that time you need to build atleast 2 teams which is 6 characters + a Bangoo for the contents,building them early is your choice but i find it's more convienient to grind things later,especially when i accidently over-grinded then i can still use spare materials for future characters without needing to grind much instead Also about the W-engine topic,i think people should spend the currency in Signal Shops for the Pulls,i found crafting some A W-engine then upgrade them to "R5" in the *I forgot the name* shop that let's you recycle W-engine is more worth it's if you got the materials,or just spend those currency on pulls and then use those pulls in the W-engine banners for A Engine or if lucky a S engine (with my luck around 30 pulls is enough to get me atleast a A W-engine R2-3 which having kidda nice stats already) *disclaim : grammar*

You said to at least have 1 or two teams to spend on for free to play people and to also only get characters your real want. The problem is is that f2p players and spenders can't pick what character we want. So, a lot of the time, we get characters we don't like and don't want to work with. So people can't make a good team they like. I'm having this issue, I have. Team in mind, but I don't have 2 characters I really want. So I'm using characters I'm not super found with. The more I level up in the story, the more I have to upgrade and level these characters that I don't want to spend on them.

I typically saved up fuel, extra resin, or batteries for artifact grinding. I would have like 50 or so and see if I could use them on getting a set so I could use my character. Although Firefly in Star rail ate 30 of them and I don’t even have a set so its hit or miss. I was patient and leveled her talents every day, but artifacts or relics are a pain.

at first i thought the point with the W-Engine shop was debatable when i saw the last video. but i came to the conclusion that its truly a waste of 30 pulls. as the signature weapons will always be better i prefer rolling for the weapon banner after i got the character.

I got characters at level 40 and don't even use any batteries yet... leave all my batteries for my next 5 stars and disc farming later.. And i agree don't spend time on disc farming (other than big spender in the game who has unlimited resources), just trade from the disc shop and form a set, and upgrade some of the disc with good main stat to level 4-9, then already good to go

Recently I rerolled and had to rush back up to lvl 30 in a day so that I could farm the weekly bosses. I had done EVERY quest in the game sitting at lvl 28 thinking I wouldn't make it before the reset. Then it hit me... "My Ether Batteries!" lol! I had to use about 6 of them, but I made it with 1 hour to spare. Now are 3 weekly boss attempts worth 6 Ether Batteries? No idea lol! But the way I saw it, I'll get more Ether Batteries. I won't get more weekly boss attempts. On a side note: Thank goodness weekly boss attempts don't use energy in this game, otherwise all that would've been pointless.

I posted a comment on the old video then I saw your pin, I was hoping the W-Engine bit was change or clarified more but it seems its not so I'll say it again. Even if those are power crept by new W-Engine, can you say it to my face that the average player WILL ROLL FOR THE ENGINE BANNER instead of the character banners... missing out a potential permanent upgrade, a swappable W-Engine you can use for your characters. Regardless of performance, you can use them as a pure stat stick.

There's legit no reason to save batteries, Drive Discs are still RNG so that won't help much, the only other use is to max a character day 1, which I don't see a real reason for that either.

I usually keep the batteries but refresh with gems (that's what I did in HSR, and what I currently do in ZZZ). And Idk, spend 50 currency everyday to progress faster sounds pretty good to me, especially since I'm not planning to pull for 1.0 banners. Thoughts? UPD: F2P btw
